I love your response, Miss "bootling". "Nah..." Cut 'em off at the pass.

I think Andy fans (and I'm definitely one of them) do need a forum and it would be cool if he had something waved at him during the shows. I like the pink converse idea. Or maybe a pic of a camera with the pink converse over the lens. awww.

If we're serious about Andy love, I think we gotta get t-shirts. There's no way he'd be able to see our feet in a sea of people out there.

We could make a pink flag........
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

no so sure about the flag idea for andy only because that is stewart's. i think it must be something different. not shoes though, you are right. he would never see that!

hmmm... thinking.

I would definitely be into the Andy Love! The poor guy - he's one of the greatest guitarists ever and he gets the least appreciation!

The lack of a central website, as GSC put it, is definitely the main problem. There does not seem to be a central forum for the Andy fans to congregate.

It's funny, though - it seems like the camps divide into Sting or Stewart - even if you search through TPT, which is a forum for ALL 3 MEMBERS - you see much more Sting/Stewart Love - I don't get why poor Andy seems to be the bastard step-child - he is so integral to the whole sound!

And, I agree with ALL who said they would love to know what Sting and Andy have to say about the flag!!! I hope Stewart is having a blast with it! I know I would be!!!

I'm sure Andy and Sting think it's cool for Stew to see his flag every night. They probably give him a good ribbing about it, but all in good fun. And I bet they look for it, too, while trying to look like they aren't. lol.

Having AS.com serve as a focal point would certainly help with the coordination; going out there to find other fans is certainly feasible (particularly with the initiative of folks like Nessy setting up sites themselves), but no one focal point has emerged out of all of it.

Something more visible than shoes but not too much like a flag ... that's tough. I was thinking pink shoe wristbands, but even if you have several people sitting together and they put their wrists together it'd be hard for Andy to have a clue from stage. Same sort of problem with t-shirts. Nope, I'm stumped.

How about pink jackets for the fall shows.

He commented on the jacket in the Everyone Stares video.

That IS a good idea.

Unfortuanately Flags are the best type of thing but it has been done (heh, heh). I thought of things but they were not portable enough, or would block views.

- big inflatable (blow up) 35mil Camera with THROB painted on it ?

- like Animal said (would look cool if a whole bunch did this) a PINK blazer with a black n white striped T-shirt....

- ...now where to find that blue felt hat with the little red wings on it (remember, Everyone Stares, like a Robin Hood cap).

He does deserve something...but it HAS to be different or else it would look like shallow copying. (IMO).

Cheers Pals.

I say we each just carry a pink sneaker along and wave it around after each solo. Just don't throw it at him.

ETA: Missed you, BBoy.

I GOT IT.....Andy's WINGED HAT hahaha...CHA t-shirt, tube sox and the freaking green and blue winged hat...<collapses in fits!> I know they all had the hats (I remember a pic, I think) but Andy was the one who wore it to a few performances that I remember seeing...Whistle test or Musikladen...where Stewart's drumset comes crashing down piece by piece, I think...something...heh

Winged hat for Andy!!
