Hi Folkies,

I emailed with Mike of the Guitar Center, and he said the event is going to be HUGE, so with a first come-first serve basis it is really going to be difficult. Keep in mind that all of the drum company sponsors are advertising the event as "The last chance you might ever have to meet Stewart" and so on.

I advise those who go to get there really early, as, of course, the sponsors, the press and the people who live in the area will be there first.

Just so you know.

Meanwhile, I got my Police videos DVD with 45 mins of Montserrat (which is my favorite period ever, if not theirs)...to make the heart grow fonder.

By the way, just in case you did not see the other post, the flag will not be present at the Guitar Center event. However, I still think we should still take this opportunity to get together,

although with this info & the mayhem that will probably ensue, I think we should create a rallying point beforehand and then considering meeting AFTER at the Backstage or something.

It looks like he WILL sign some copies of the Anthology or, I don't know, photos or posters or CDs, according to the PAISTE announcement.

Was hoping for a demo, but 2 hours will barely be enough for him to sign stuff, if there are going to be like a lot of people there.

Also, I was thinking that there is no need for any flag...If you go, either you are a drummer, a musician, or a SC fan. So he is on his territory and I bet there will be no Sting or Andy fans who will endure the wait and the chance that you will not get in.

Kimmy, this may seem weird to some folks, but it would only have any meaning for me if I got it directly from Stew to me. Some arbitrarily signed generic item wouldn't hold much interest for me.
