Yep, well, get paid for your plasma, actually. I may be revealing my age, though; the plasma market may have dried up (pun intended) in the post-AIDS world. But I think that if you have a negative HIV test you can be paid for your plasma.[/quote]

Well, yeah, that's what I meant. My neighbor actually just did it in the last few years, so I think they still do pay for it. I think she got $50 a pop. Not bad.

I've never done it, can't stand needles. But an asset is an asset (although kidney sales are illegal, but ... ), and sometimes physical assets are all we've got.

How's that for a lead-in to take the thread into the gutter?

"I just thought of a way for Caligula to make money that matches the decadence of your name"

Dance little boots dance!

Sorry, inside joke for those who have actually seen the movie "Caligula" (And I recommend a strong stomach.) The porn. The randomness. The violence. The bad dancing. The besmirtching of so many fine actors careers. (Hello, SIR John, what the fuck were you thinking?!)

You mean the Caligula with Malcolm McDowell?
The one °Made in Italy°?

Never got to see it. But I loved Fellini's Satyricon, especially the blond ephebus....

Yeah Malcom McDowell stars and Helen Mirren plays Mrs. Caligula and Sir John Gielgood is in it too. Three oscar winners in one of the worst movies ever.

Oh Kalypso, you really should not watch it. It is beyond bad. It has it's moments of unitentional humor: Bob Gucionne (Penthouse Publisher) produced it and toward the end of filming he got nervous about it being hard core enough to fly with his typical audience so he looped back in about 20 minutews of random porn into it. So on the flimsiest of plot excuses you'll have a typical Penthouse Lesbian scene come out of nowhere. Just when you're starting to be amused by the silliness then it's back to the blood and guts and bad dancing. "One hell of a show" pretty much sums it up.

Reminds me of one of the episodes of the first season of Rome on HBO; actually, reminds me of several Rome episodes ... cleaner and more tasteful than Guccione, of course, but ...

All this talk of movies reminds me of a way I can simultaneously return this thread to its original topic and earn cash (legally) for the Atlanta show.

I have a boatload of rare and out of print classic movie titles just gathering dust and toddler drool in my house. I see the ebay description now,

"This video comes from a smoke free, but not pet free home. I can't guarantee that this movie won't have a little cat hair or toddler drool on it. I can however guarantee that you won't find a better copy of this rarely shown 70 year old gem...")

Nahh, I am not a fan of explicit movies...Imagination and eye contact are the best triggers for yours truly... XXX grosses me out and I hear that the quality is horrendous in the best of cases. Yes, of course in my long life I have seen some snippets of it, but they really did nothing for me if not making me very sad about human nature.

So it sorta sounds like the Plan 9 from Outer Space of porn!

Well, if we're gonna be addiction enablers and co-dependents, at least something constructive is happening out of it  !
