[quote="D-A-O"]OK....here is a special one just for you guys! :D
I don't really like YouTube video quality so I converted the video to .wmv which is still 1/15 the size of the original but still large and good quality.

I had better video from the 22nd where I was tucked in the aisle a bit more.

On the 23rd I was on the end of the aisle and asked already once to make sure I was shooting stills not video. Up to that point that is all I was doing.

I thought that near the end they would be more concerned with other people moving up versus what I was actually doing.

I had to still be careful, held the camera low, and used the speaker monitors for reference so as not to attract attention and to make sure I also experienced it live....not through a small lcd display.

The result was almost exactly what I wanted to capture....a finale I was waiting to see for years and possibly but not hopefully the last time I would see The Police together. I have played this over and over again.

I hope you all enjoy it!

Ok ....after a few bottle so fwine on a Friday and listening to Outlandos d'Amour on our patio (yep...been one hot summer) I am still coherent enough to convert and post this one....not bad for a geologist 'eh....bethcha thought I was some kind of computer geek.

Anyhoo...here is the last sone on the 23rd ..other than the finale.
It's "Next To You"

I gotta admit ...Sting comes out clapping in sort of an autistic way.....big hands and fingers all spread out.

Remember...second night...nervous about geeting busted by security and so close that the camera couldn't pan out any more. As a result Andy gets cut out.....sorry Andy!!!!!
Here ya' go folks....enjoy:

Bear with me... Flag stick point at very end of Message - around 8:07/8:08 - from that distance it's hard to see but I think it's there.

i thought i was the only who thought that... it is so strange that he claps his hands like that. it's just weird. he looks all kind of ... well... kind of not all there, really.... it's a demented way to clap, ain't it!

so! noone else has asked - how the HELL did you pull off such a great camera job, so close to the stage, without being busted by security????

Overall both nights they didn't care about point and shoot cameras at all....pictures only.

On Sunday I had a two people buffer to the aisle so the video was realtively easy.
Monday was a different story....I was right on the aisle.

I wanted my wife to take that spot for more cover but who was I to push her to the aisle after securing those tickets.
I was asked once to confirm I was only taking pics and no video....as I mentioned I had complyed to that point for fear of being caught but knew they would be distracted near the end.

The Canon 710IS is alittle workhorse for it's diminuitive size.
Pushing the ISO to 800 (max) and no flash was the key.

I noticed that too on Sunday night with my closer seats...it reminded me of Joan Rivers when she used to clap like that... "Can we talk..."
