Thank You to Three Over Four - Across The River !

In the links section I just downloaded the four Peter Gabriel and Copeland songs. Across the River is one of them.

This is a long story but this song means a TON to me. I used to have it on cassette like ten years ago ! I haven't heard it in full for many years. This song taught me so much..The Police opened the doors for me and recording my own tunes. This song just has all the elements...Indian sound...Gobsmack drums...great Andy style guitar...pure mystical magic !

Thank You so much Three Over Four...I can't believe I have it on CD.

....drummers know what I mean...Stewart really taught me the ride cymbal stuff on that tune !

I would love to hear STEWART's DINNER TALE about recording Across the River.

Thanks a lot.

You are all most welcome....normally I'm against file sharing, but in the case of really hard to find and/or insanely expensive import discs I make an exception. Glad I could feed the addiction y'all!

.....my sentiments, exactly. Thanks, ToF.

I'm continually flabbergasted at how you folks manage to find this stuff!

Mad props! 8)

I actually never download stuff if I can buy it. I tried to find this song everywhere (for years!) but unless you use E-bay...it was no where.

I like the packaged product and if I do see it I would still buy it to support artists I respect and admire.

I just bought the CD of The Rhytmatist last month...look how long THAT wait was....from vinyl to CD.

but it was worth it and now Stewart has his cut.

Great tunes Y'all !
Cheers - BB.
