Toronto Pictures - Both Shows Close Up! Thx Stewart!

Toronto Pictures - Both Shows Close Up! Thx Stewart!

Postby D-A-O on 25 Jul 2007 15:26

My wife got us row 1 center floors for Toronto for both shows and I managed to get some pretty decent pics.

It was hard to get shots of Stewart with a little Canon digicam. Best I could do was ISO 800 and when it went from optical to digital zoom the pics deteriorated quite a bit and focus was tough.

All shots are uncropped and unaltered.

Absolutely amazing shows with Andy and Stewart having obviously more fun on the second night.

I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Welcome, D-A-O!

Great shots! Thanks for sharing. There's one in particular that Nancy's going to want to see . . .

Absolutely brilliant work. That 016.jpg--I'm sure the framer is working on your 48"X56" blow-up even as we speak! I really appreciate this. Look at their faces: These are men who know they have WON. I get all choked up when I see that look on Stewart's face when he's getting his introduction. And the crowd.....cheering him like he just won the Super Bowl ( or the Hamilton Trophy, as it were). Y'all did great. You've prolonged my Police euphoria once again! Thanks.......

What I love is you've captured such joy in these photos.

Anyone who still can say these guys are just doing it for the money and can't stand each other clearly have their heads permanently planted up their asses.

And I think this is the photo DM is talking about:

An official flag-count if I'm reading that correctly...

Crap! Sorry! I posted in the other Toronto thread. That would indeed be the one, sockii:

Nancy had said elsewhere:
Stewart walked right down to the edge of the stage, peered into the fourth row with a HUGE smile on his face, gave that big emphatic point, and threw me a peace sign!!
Tee hee hee.

Thanks. I had to downsize them to get them onto pbase.
If anyone does want an original of one or two I can email them to you.
Just pm me.......you can pm here I hope 8)

Thanks for all the positive feedback.

I know I wasn't supposed to video but I do have a couple. Accidentally pressed the record button.....ahem.

I cought the finale on the second night which I keep playing over and over.

I will try to get the best on YouTube. The finale needs resizing as it was too big by a lousy 6mb.

Will try tonight and post a link.

You got absolutely brilliant pics! There's a killer Stingo pic (and I'm not usually a Stingo kinda girl). Lots of good Sting and Andy interaction shots. And he peace sign...whoo hoo!

I love the pic of Stew waving with the crowd behind him. And I love the end with Andy throwing his guitar to the tech! Oh, and then Andy making the funny face right after that.

Damn! They're all good!! Yeah!!
