Come on, stuckupedness and PCdness sometimes make for very head-up-your-asses message boards (no names mentiones). I am in no way being disrespectful. If anything, I respect hetero, homo and metrosexuals. I am sure Stewart does too.

I think it's true that the police had a smattering of metrosexuality back in the day. (that carries through till now, somewhat) That's OK with me. They weren't Duran Duran or anything but they definitely spent time and money on a cultivated look. Remember Miles Copeland raking over the set designer at the start of Sting's tour in Bring on the Night. He reminds us that they spent 100K on clothes. In 1983 dollars. Those post-apocolyptic threads don't come cheap apparently.

I think most musicians who were around in the '80s have a few "metroskeletons" in their closet.

See you in Boston on Saturday! I saw The Police perform on Aug 10, 1983 at Sullivan Stadium near Boston. It was my first and last time. Here it is 24 years LATER and I can finally see you guys again. 24 years is a long time.
