Wear tall shoes! Fenway is outside, right??? The outside stages are much higher and further back than indoor. I talked with some people who had 6th row center in Oakland and couldn't see Stew b/c he was too far back from them.

Hopefully your side view will allow you to see Stew. Let me know how the view was.
Thanks for reminding me to ask cpriddims about that - since he was front row for the outside Miami show I'm sure he can fill us in on how the view "up close" is. I don't remember him saying anything about not seeing the guys all that well.

I heard the same problem at Oakland. But at Philly, it didn't seem to be a problem at all. I wonder if Oakland was just extra tall somehow? or the drum riser was placed too far back?
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Hey Skip,

We don't want you to miss your chance for flag waving, so I think you get first crack at the 28th. But that'll be up to you and Donna to suss out...I'll just need to know who to pick up the flag from before the Sunday show. Donna has it for MSG waving on 8/1 after I host the sign-in party that night.

I emailed you fabulous folks about this earlier, so if you need each other's email addresses, you've got 'em.

ETA: Wait -- what am I saying? After the million rounds of Boston tweaks, there's no way you don't have each other's email addresses. Never mind. Flag Fever.

Go to!

I lived in Boston in my late teens, going to music school. That's a town that does appreciate good music.
That it does. I went to college in Boston myself (okay, Cambridge specifically, at MIT. And no, don't ask why I'm not doing anything with that degree now...) I just remember it being such a kickass city for music back in the early 90s when I was there. I saw some great shows...my first Andy Summers concert ever at a tiny club just off campus.

It's been about 3-4 years since I was last there for a visit, so it's sort of doubly-exciting to be headed up for this show.
