i have just committed a sin and need to confess...

You done right, policerule. It's not worth risking your health and safety to attempt to make a show (especially when one of the main reasons vespapod and I didn't even attempt Hershey is that the traffic out there can be such a mother-effing bitch, and that's with time to spare.)

Things happen how they're meant to happen.

yeah conroy... i really wanted to meet you guys too. my family and friends couldn't understand why i was in such a state trying to get down there in time to meet up. tube sock/forum/flag frenzy went completely over their heads.

we'll meet at the Kon. i have complete faith that this group will make it happen.

i'm glad that you got your turn with the flag! was is as good for you as it was for the one's before you? i could totally see it from the other side! i think that i gave sockii's hearing a jolt even before the show with my " I SEE IT!!!"

i'm going to boston on 7/28 & msg on 8/1

yeah sockii... that's only one of the reasons i didn't go. traffic on 78 blows down there. construction and all... it's better this way.

There's a chance I may be able to go to the 8/1. It was definitely fun having the flag, even though once we got to the seats, we knew Stew wouldn't have a snowball's chance of seeing it, I still held it up anyway especially during Message, Wrapped, Walking and King. And the whole thing with the signs made the fact that it didn't get sited hysterical!

absoLUTEly! (that never gets old for me)

the signs were an inspiration. i'm guessing he got a kick out of them. they were the next best thing or at the very least an entertaining alternative.

hope to see you at the msg show! i am leaving work early that day, so i don't have to worry about getting there in time to meet everyone - whew! i'm pretty sure that i'm showing up late for work the next day too... last night was too much. i work really early and it's over an hour drive home for me from nyc without concert traffic factored in. i've never seen anything at msg before though and i hear it's incredible, so i'm really looking forward to that show. try hard to get there!!!

PR,

Which is worse, missing The Police or lying on a gurny.

You chose the wisest option.

You live to see The Police another day.

Don't regret the decision, things happen for a reason.

OMFG that's awesome.

Can you imagine the sound of an audience singing that?!?

Can you imagine the look on Sting's face at the sound of an audience singing that?!?

Heh. Thanks, PRule. My thought was that they would either be helpful or hysterical. Hopefully they were one of those. I just wish we could have had a genuine sighting for Conroy. But this tour ain't over yet!

CONROY! If you're going to do MSG 8/1, let me know! I have yet to buy tix for that show -- looking for something cheap and well-located at the last minute. I can certainly look for two . . .
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

betsy, I can TOTALLY relate. Same thing happened to me in Anaheim-not a free ticket but a cheap one right behind Stew. But i was falling asleep at my desk, it was 5 and rush hour traffic from Santa Monica to Anaheim rivals that long stretch of mindless traffic that is the 78 (I remember getting stuck in hershey- oh, and the red robin there).

Glad your safe- who else will I buy beer next Saturday? you HAVE to come to Boston.

don't worry babe! i'll be there! 6 days....

give me a call if you are by yourself and need someone to hang with on saturday! i have to refrain from drinking saturday afternoon until we get to the bar. that's gonna be hard for me being in boston!

DM - get those tickets for conroy and yourself! don't even ask the man - just do it! i think i'm in section 6 that night.
