Is Sting the Paul McCartney of his generation?

Thanks

So you liked the discussion Foxy, thanks a lot.

You liked also the thing about the forest...

Mmmm, I said that because I was angry, but later, just Mister Gradenko disappeared and I felt terrible, because the discussion was not with him. :(

He disappeared for a while, and I really missed him (Foxy, don't tell this to him please)

But finally it looks like he went the way back to these forums, and is posting again, talking about SC and Police music as always, but maybe he is mad at me, because he pretending to ignore me.

But I know I am still in his mind, because he knows I prefer like him, Stewart Copeland/Police music, in first place, and also because he knows like me, although he never said this, Sting really looks like Paul Mc. Maybe good for crowds, but very commercial/popular music.

Foxy, I hope I can read your posts in these forums soon.

I know Sting doesn't appeal to everyone but fcuking hell compare him to Paul McCartney. I'm sorry Paul McCartney to me is pure 5hite. Nice bloke (or is he, I don't know). Man on the run and all the other stuff is garbage.

Sting is the Sting of his generation.

PS - Really hate offending people especially Police/SC fans but fcuking hell Paul McCartney is fcuking awful music. Of course I'm not saying that when he was with the Beatles. Gotta give credit where credit is due.

PPS - Really just dropped myself in it. What a knob.
I've cracked enough jokes and I've smoked enough smokes...........

'i buried paul"

Postby Rotten Deaf on 07 Mar 2006 04:10

it was such an infectious rumor in the sixties, mccartney being secretly dead. they had long televised debates discussing clues listeners got off beatles albums. paul with no shoes on, Abbey Rd. "strawberry fields" encore. i'm an intense psychic dreamer, and actually dreamed GEORge was the one who'd died!! his ski boots from the movie "hELP' were in my old platonic boyfriend's closet. buddy o.d'd at 29 as a member of that drad injian commune in oregon. b. sent me a nightmare 'bout that, too. so stoned i cudnt see. stumbling around in the dark. lost. confused.

Life's irony.

I supose Rotten Deaf you are a real hippie, who was inlove in a Platonic way with George. WOW, glad to meet you. :D

After all, your Platonic boyfriend was the second Beatle who gone before us.

I was a kiddie when the Beatle success. Anyway I like George because his beautiful name.

Lennon's always been my fav Beatle. Not sure why, I never cared for any of their solo work.

Georgy show me the pic of Stew with a beard!

I was just thinking....in my sig, dosen't it look like Stew has a perm?

Then again I do love the song "Love Comes to Everyone" and if I really thought about it, I could name a few others, of Georges, and ahhh Eric stold his wife!

If it hadn't ended, especially on such a sad...thump (I still cry every time I listen to Tears in Heaven), it would have been a romantic story.
