I'm embarrassed to say I spent the better part of my evening driving around to 4 different thrift shops trying to find that perfect pair of meats shorts. Sorry, "meats shorts" is what my friends and I have always called them when talking about our past apparel choices. Found some good candidates but no winners. I'll check out Old Navy tomorrow.

I just went on oldnavy.com and the home page has a flash sequence of groups of kids in their back-to-school outfits. Find the tube socks! (Hint: they appear on a little girl on the left-hand side of the picture).
And she's wearing...wait for it...wait...

PINK sneakers.

Seriously, I am a DREADFUL poser - stick a camera in front of me and i do my 'camera face'. I look exactly the same in every bloody picture! Full length shots I tend to opt for the Rita Hayworth hands-on-hips cheeky grin pose. I don't know if that pose will work in tube socks...

that pose will certainly work with tube socks! i'm guessing you could look fab no matter how you pose.

i looked at old navy online and i didn't see the shorts on there at all, so i have no idea why they are in the store and not there... whatever.

good luck all!

Another thought about your avatar...
How often is Hannah night hosted?
You know, the one where you stand on a tiny stage/platform, do your best "Rita" and patrons snap away? [/quote]
