Indeed. I managed to do enough work yesterday during the PSA/news breaks that my morning meeting with my boss wasn't too embarassing. Luckily earlier in the week my computer crashed and my productivity was even lower.

Has anyone heard from Nina today? Is she going to join the board?
Or have we terrified the living crap out of the woman?

I was listening this morning and even sent another request (I never have enough!), and she did a shout out to all the peeps at SC.net.

NiNa loves us.

I think next time I have a chance, I'm going to send a copy of Grand Pecking Order to that station. They desperately need it.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

NiNa should sign up for sure, she's cool.

She also hosts the 1980's show so she really SHOULD be here as one of us.

...like you said though, maybe she is now afraid to get the "Asshat" stink on her...WoHo WoHo Munga Blugga !

WE so Crazy!

Over at TPT, I sent the birthday wish to Mr Copeland.

He works on his Birthday...what a guy...y'know they might do something a little special on July 16th y'know? did any of you who are going mention that?

Hmmmm...got myself thinking now.

Hate that i missed out on most of the fun! I read the first 30 pages and just withered with fatigue.

I'm curious if anyone got a tracklist of what all got played yesterday?

Didn't get a tracklist, but I could probably name a shitload of the songs if you're looking for something specific, Chris.

Just curious about the ratio of solo material in the mix... plus i wanted to see if there was something generally available out there that i needed to pick up on!

I'm right now thinking of rescuing my Andy stuff and the Animal Logic's from my dustbin!

Crapload of Sting stuff. Don't ask me -- I've blocked out most of it.

I think we only had 2 Andy tracks. The one that I remember the name of was "Umbrellas Over Java" from Synaesthesia. Lovely. Oh -- and Andy on the Heather Nova cover, but that only partially counts.

SC-wise, we had some O'head, a bit of Orchestralli and Rumblefish by way of Orchestralli, a bit of Rhythmatist, 3 from Animal Logic, no Curved Air. I think the most obscure SC items that they played were probably "Throb," "The Freddy File," and "Strange Things Happen." Also "Out of Bounds."

Police-wise, we had an Eberhard track and a Strontium 90 track, I believe. Don't know the titles though. And of course, "Do Do Do Do" in Japanese.

They didn't do too much Andy stuff for obvious reasons. Lots of Stingo stuff and we bombarded the request lines for The Man. I think we had them literally running around trying to find the stuff for us. I got the feeling we came up with some material they weren't aware of. NiNa was great though. It really was alot of fun and VERY contagious.

After what seemed like an hour long playing of "movie stuff" that was exclusively Sting solo work, how else were we supposed to respond but by bombarding the phone lines? We also got them to play their one Klark Kent track. A couple of times. NiNa was fab-tab-ulous. We love NiNa very much.
