Heh. Yeah, I was just adding that, Bella. Agreed.

Like SC-calypso meets Thirtysomething.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I think of it as a lost love/regret song.
Or a song about how blokes always want their old girlfriends back just because they can't have them anymore.

Just an opinion :D<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
AND a very spot on opinion at that!

If they are going to play anything by Sting, it should be "Little Wing".

And I would love to hear some Andy with Robert Fripp. I think that was some one of my first non police records (well, cassette). =)
OMG, I love Little Wing. I like the Hendrix version best of course, but that has painful ex boyfriend associations. No ex-boyfriend would admit to listening to Sting solo material.

What the heck is on now? Very ethereal and not that appealing.

It sounds like a Sting jam to me. Started with a "Why Should I Cry'ish" sound then into something else. Definitely sounds like Sting's band.

Maybe?

Oh right! I thought the calypso sounded like Why Should I Cry. But after that it got a bit 'world music' ish.

I think this is a community radio station, isn't it? The level of professionalism is pretty low.

Oh they're playing Secret Marriage. There was a time when I would have crapped my pants hearing this on the radio.

Such a beautiful song.

Okay. I'm never gonna get any work done today. I hope the drug reps bring us lunch today, because I don't want to leave the computer for too long.

we shouldn't be too flattered. They are doing a Silverchair marathon. God help the citizens of Cleveland.

And Englishman in New York and Secret Marriage are not "soundtrack music" per se. They both appeared on actual albums.

Oh, but I do love this song.

I'm an alien...

I know the feeling, Bella, there's no way I'm gonna get left alone with this all day. Already the natives are restless and wanting me to leave my perch.

Man, they gotta get this skip thing worked out. I could understand one or two different records, or cd's or whatever, but seems to be with everything.

How is this song Police related?

This is a Peter Gabriel Song (and an obscure one at that.)

Who is the vocalist? She can't hold a candle to Pelvis Pete.

SC may have played on it. But that's it. I'm stumped too.

Sounds like Kate Bush with Andy, too.
