Mrs Animal is waiting patiently to get book 7.

She is going to see OOTP this weekend.

She has Harry Potter, I have Stewart & The Police. :D

Yeah, and I'm really SOL because I'll be on a boat 600 miles from the mainland on the day it comes out. I'm going to have to go on total, 100% news blackout to avoid spoilers before I can get home and read it. I already preordered a copy, but I might grab another in the Miami airport if I can find one...

Went to see OOTP last night. It was good, but not as good as the Cuaron-directed Goblet of Fire flick, IMO.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Who's going to stay up, days on end, reading this book to the finish, just so they get it read before they hear any spoilers? After the last book, I'll be sure to have a ginormous supply of tissues.

PG (the LadyWeasel) went to the movie last night, and has the book pre-ordered.

I (and don't be throwing any hate at me) have never read anything J.K. Rowling wrote, and have only seen the flicks after they get on HBO. It all seems very cool and interesting, but I just never got into it.

But I do know that calling my lady the day after that book comes out is a no-no. She'll read it cover to cover in one sitting.

I agree 100%. Good movie, not the best one. I enjoyed it a lot, and I like how it stayed close to the book. It was a pretty dark flick, but then the book was too so I probably would have been disappointed if they had portrayed it otherwise. And I LOVE the Weasley twins. LOVE them. The gal who played Umbrage - GAWD I hated her. She did an excellent job.

My poor man - I feel for him come the 21st. Luckily for both of us I read fast, so he shouldn't be deprived of me for too long.

I'm sure Dive will still be able to look here, we'll all be good boys and girls and won't spoil anything.

I hope there won't be any spoilers here. I'm still trying to get through "One Train Later" and after that, I have a book on Captain Kidd that I'm wanting to get through, before I even crack open the Harry Potter book.

I'm glad I'm not the only HP geek on the boards!!
I pre-order them on Amazon and they always arrive on the published date without special shipping charges.

I'm going to the Hershey show the night before so I'll be pretty amped up already. So, I don't know how much I'll actually read that day.

I think Hagrid's definitely going to buy the farm.

I think Fawkes is Dumbledore's horcrux and Dumbledore may come up. Ok maybe that's wishful thinking.

Yeah, I know wishful thinking. I also have this little suspicion that the new Minister of Magic is Regulus (Sirius's brother) in disguise. Follow with me if you will, Sirius is the Dog Star. Sirius (the character) turns into a dog. Regulus (the star) is from the constellation of Leo (a lion). Everyone describes Rufus Scrimgeour as being lion-like in his motions, and appearance. I have a creeping suspicion that Rufus Scrimgeour is Regulus Black in disguise. *shrug* It's a long shot.

Yeah PR and SS, you guys are not the only HP geeks on here.
