Don't box me in comes immediately to mind, and it would be SO meaningful...Can Stingo play harmonica?

Kalypso, finally I can see your avatar. Stewart looks so young.

How about Louis Hansa cover from The Police?

Don't Box Me In, sounds really cool too.

How about both cover from The Police!!!

Well, if I am not wrong, "Does everyone stare' is already a Police song. It's on Regatta de Blanc. I mean a Stewart Copeland song, not recorded by the Police.

I'm assuming that this would exclude Police songs written by Stewart. In that case, I think Don't Care is the most Police like and I would like to see what Andy would do with the solo.

If Police songs count, On Any Other Day. I think that song has lots of potential to be jammed up live.

If we include the Police, my favorite Stewart song is Darkness. To this day I cannot understand if he sings it or if Sting sings it and he is backing Sting.

Away from Home is another I see very well, it has that reggae beat and the oh.oh that are trademark Police.

But, 'Does Everyone Stares is already played live by The Police?

What about Darkness, On Any Other Day or Miss Gradenko?

My favourite would be 'Party At Someone Else's Place' from Rumblefish... it's the perfect mixture of KK, SC and The Police. And I just love that first big splashy cymbal hit!

Also, wasn't 'Don't Care' a song he wrote for The Police that got rejected? In which case I'd love to hear how they would have played it. They probably even tried it, who knows?

I alays thought "Love Lessons" would have made a brilliant Police track - it definitely has that sound already.

I'd kind of like to hear a Policified "Koteja."

And I would create serious havoc for a Policified "Wield the Spade."
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

(I know "Does Everyone Stare" is a Police song. Was trying to make a snarky remark vis a vis the fact the boys are playing zero Stewart/Andy songs on tour this go-round...)

Maybe Grandilenquent, or one of the other songs off the KK record, which is already proto-Police in my book....

You're right, DiveMistress...Has anybody other than Sting had songs in the setlist in this tour, or was that one of the conditions on the contract dictated by "Mr. 5 minutes tantra, more like"*?

I loved your comment on the Space Laser Stew on the other thread...I love people who tell it like it is  I have the same reaction when listening to Stewart swear in Arabic on that track....
