Just spoke with CP as he sped along Alligator Alley.

He's going to try to get photos up on flickr tonight, but because he's in a time crunch, he may need to post them tomorrow or Friday from Atlanta. To quote CP, some of the photos "are extravagant."

He says he's still buzzing from last night's show and had an absolutely incredible time.

Some thoughts that he threw out:

* Andy used the Tele for about half the show.

* He has no idea why Stewart was doing the sock thing. SC was wearing mid-calf socks but pulled up his pant leg and sort of looked out in the front rows. As he said earlier, CP can only figure that maybe it was a nod to the tube sock avatars.

In Flag News:

* The Flag was spotted by a friend of CP's who was sitting in the 4th tier.

* The Flag (and CP and his friend) ended up on the jumbotron a couple of times, including one time in which Sting's face was superimposed over the Flag. (HA!) (They were also filmed off-jumbotron, so perhaps they might end up in a video. Fingers crossed!)

* One of the local papers (he's not sure which -- Miami Herald? Fort Lauderdale something?) took his picture with the Flag. So if anyone comes across that, let us know!
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

That is SOOO Great !

This was an awesome idea !

I bet from Stewarts position it is a lot more fun for HIM then fans just saying "you're great, I've always been a fan etc".

I think he's gonna dig it a lot.

Thanks for doing the FLAG thing, very cool.

I can't hear enough...TELL US MORE ABOUT THE SHOW !

Toodles !

Well, and it's logistically impossible for him to physically speak to every Police fan who'd like to talk to him. This makes it seem like he's got a little more interaction, which is probably also more fun for everybody involved.

This is so freakin' awesome. :D

It's like watching a movie. Every time the flag gets acknowledged at a different city/venue, the plotline thickens.

From Stewart's perspective, in as much as he's well familiar with being idolized by a small but hardcore community of people, it's gotta be terrific to look out and see that flag everywhere he goes. Even though it's a slightly oblique concept, I get the idea that he understands what's happening and how much coordination and so on has gone into getting this flag in front of him at every damn stop of the whole tour.

Just awesome. You people fucking rule.

Who you calling oblique, weasel? How much more obvious could we be?!? :P

As the coordination goes, there ain't enough words in the 'verse to describe it. *I* cannot even fathom how we're managing this.

GO, FLAG, GO!
