Hey! Hub just found a hi-def channel - UHD - that's running the whole thing in hi-def!! Baaba Maal is on at the moment from Johannesburg and they rule!! Drums down a little too low in the mix, though....

I used to see RHCP years ago, early 90s when I was in college. They were great then, but nothing like as polished as they are now...

[edit: DM question answered in another thread]

I'm doing my part while watching at home through entering my deluge of catalogs at www.stopthejunkmail.com. Saving a few trees, I hope....

I totally agree. That set is my favorite so far (until the boys get on later). Duran Duran's rocked pretty good, too. I thought Andy Taylor was rocking out, too. I want to see both of these bands live now.

You know, I do wish they had turned loose some kind of info as far as which band is playing when, thanks to the fact that we're having to juggle various time zones in order to see artists. I really want to catch the Jorge Ben set at the Rio show, and God only knows what time it'll be on.

I simply can't watch television for 29 straight hours, much as I'd love to...

I thought it was cool that the guitarist was wearing a Police jacket.

Agreed. Outside of that , they stunk, IMHO.

I don't know. I would argue that Ludicrous has the distinction of being the worst performance I've seen thus far.
