Mostly OT: My Police Vacation Video

Mostly OT: My Police Vacation Video

Important notes...

1. There is not one millisecond of actual Police footage in this video. Don't have any expectations in this regard. However, a few songs you enjoy are used as background ambience.

2. In case this is confusing, when my ladyfriend and I are both wishing each other "happy birthday", your assumption is right: not only do we share the same day for our birthday, but we're both Police fans, and the Police show we saw was ON OUR BIRTHDAY, which is freakishly cool.

3. Yes, the continuity skips around. Yes, the camera work is shoddy. Yes, I shot this on a digital camera with some weak built-in video capabilities. No, I'm not expecting any awards for my cinematography, direction, or dialogue.

So, if you want to see a bunch of silly amateurly-shot lovey-dovey stuff for five minutes or so, by all means enjoy...

Nice video Jeff, very reminiscent of Vancouver complete with the pissing down rain too. So if your lady friend and you share the same birthday of June 6th that would make last year's numbers 666!

I dunno. I think the big YEEEEEEEAH Jeff emotes at about 45 seconds in may be the new big thing. It was very cute, by the way.

Yeah, going to the Pacific Northwest at any time of year, one should pretty much expect constant rain, and be surprised at any other weather.

I have been acute aware of the "Number of the Beast" association with my b-day for a loooooong time. But I figure between my ladyfriend and I, we're more of a 12/12/12 than a 6/6/6. ;)

I have no freakin' idea what that YEEEEEEAH was all about. She was preparing some yummy spaghetti sauce at that moment, so I may have been lusting after some home-cooked food.

Hey, it's the little things. :)

Glad you enjoyed it.

Cool video.

That crack in the windshield kept arousing my curiosity.

According to Christina (my previously unnamed ladyfriend), due to all the logging trucks and so on, tons of gravel gets kicked up on the freeways, leading to roughly one out of every three cars having windshield cracks in the Seattle area. I started to dispute this until I looked around and noticed she was right.

On an unrelated note, I'd never realized until I edited this film how good much of the Police's music was for general ambience and background stuff. I should have known, of course. :)

Very nice, Jeffda. So Christina's the lucky lady who sees the rest of those thighs ;) Like the kitties. Yeah, I was wondering about the crack too. Thought it was a bullet hole for a sec.

Yeah, I thought it might have been a bullet hole, too, since it had a spidering effect on it. Although, we get plenty of gravel flying out of dump truck here and occasionally bullets aimed at cars in Northern Virginia as well.

Christina is indeed my love, and yes, she sees my thighs (and everything else) any time she wants. :) Unfortunately, it's not as often as either of us would like; she currently resides 1,000 miles north of me. :(

However, we manage to see each other every couple of months for the last couple of years, and talk every day, and if all works out, she'll be living down here in my area within a relatively short timeframe. :)

Glad you liked the vid.
