I bought the brown shirt with "The Police" repeating in light blue writing. I wanted the light blue with checkered background but they were all out of real sizes. They only had the cool green checkered shirt in unisex. Dang. I see that one's disappeared from the web.
I agree the ladies shirt sizing runs really really small. I had to by an XL and I normally wear a medium in misses or large in juniors. The shirt is really stretchy and very, very thin, so there is some forgiveness there. It is very long, which is the style right now. You could just about wear it as a mini dress, if you were insanely brave. It will probably disintigrate within the year though I do plan to wash it in the gentle cycle and line dry it.
There were some shirts at the concert that looked cool online, but I was glad I waited till I saw them in person. The long sleeve shirt was pretty weak. Online they describe it as a thermal. It's just a long sleeve T. So was the woman's distressed badge t-shirt. Online it looks like blue on brown, but it's really more of a vile green. Kind of a "sopisticated color choice" (as my old art history teacher would say to describe something that was buttugly) if you ask me. Also it ready made, "DIY" holes in it. I don't need to pay $80 for something with holes in it already.
I didn't see the military jacket, but I did see the ladies bomber with the GITM faces on it. That looked awesome and I'm really considering ordering it online because I need a new fall jacket. I also might order the three faces boybeater undershirt. They only had that in tiny sizes as well.
I was realy torn about just getting one of the $35 tour t-shirts that had the dates on it, since you can't get those online. They only had them in regular unisex shirts and I never ever wear those t-shirts cause they are so ill-fitting on me. A small is too tight. A Medium looks like a bad dress that has no waist.
The piece of merch that I didn't get because I'd spent all my cash on over-priced beer and the other shirt was the the key lanyard with the laminated pass on it. Those key lanyards are kinda dorky, but they are actually very handy for me at work and it would be cool to at least be representin' The Police, if I have to be a dork.
Also the poster selection is waaay better at the concerts than online. I was hoping to see a St. Paul specific poster, but there wasn't one. I love collecting that kind of stuff. Maybe they will show up later online? I hope.
