I am SO happy that the flag has been spotted a few times. Outdoor stadiums are going to be more problematic (size-wise and lighting-wise) than the indoor arenas, so if he doesn't spot it at the outdoor shows, I won't be surprised. I can hope, but I won't be surprised.

I'm screaming that in caps because I have had SO many problems with FED EX it is insane (DHL as well). And if I miss delivery/they can't find my house (which I won't go into how many times they've fucked this up, despite my easy address), their pickup station is nearly impossible for me to get to, not having a car of my own.
United States Postal Service or United Parcel Service only, PLEASE. I never have problems with either of them and their package-pickup locations are easy for me to get to (especially regular old USPS). You'd think Fed Ex could handle these things since I live in a big city but in Philly they seem to employ the biggest morons under the sun.

I'd just add that I'll be a bit back in the stadium (Pelouse) and the flag would not be too visible, so if there is someone else with better ticket volunteering for Paris 2 I'd be glad to let him the duties of bearing the flag. I'd be honored just to carry the flag back to Italy and give it again to Giovanni in Torino.

On the opposite side of the world, I have some tweaks to the European Flag Schedule, thanks to the fabulous ilbolchini. Changes appear in steps 5a and 5b.
THE FLAG'S EUROPEAN LEG: LONDON TO CARDIFF
JOURNEY 1a: NJ to London
DirtyMartini mails the flag to Hannah for it to arrive on Thursday, Sept. 6. Hannah gives flag to dafttart before the Sept. 8 London show.
STOP 1a: SEPTEMBER 8 - London (dafttart)
JOURNEY 1b: After the Sept. 8 London show, dafttart hands the flag to Hannah, who brings it back to Twickenham the next day.
STOP 1b: SEPTEMBER 9 - London (Hannah)
JOURNEY 2a: London to Amsterdam
On Monday, Sept. 10, Hannah mails the flag to Gina’s hotel in Amsterdam. Flag must arrive by Wednesday, Sept. 12. (Both Hannah and Gina call hotel to make sure that hotel is abundantly aware that a package will be arriving and should be held for Gina’s arrival.)
STOP 2a: SEPTEMBER 13 - Amsterdam (GinaSuperCat)
JOURNEY 2b: Gina carries flag to Amsterdam show #2.
STOP 2b: SEPTEMBER 14 - Amsterdam (GinaSuperCat)
JOURNEY 3: Amsterdam to Geneva
After the Sept. 14 Amsterdam show, GinaSuperCat hands the flag to Giovanni, who carries it to Geneva.
STOP 3: SEPTEMBER 16 – Geneva (Giovanni)
JOURNEY 4: Geneva to Munich
After the Sept. 16 Geneva show, Giovanni transports the flag to Munich, where he hands it off to phaty.
STOP 4: SEPTEMBER 22 - Munich (phaty)
JOURNEY 5a: Munich to Paris
After the Sept. 22 Munich show, phaty hands the flag to Giovanni, who carries it home. Giovanni transports the flag to Paris, where he hands it off to Olivier.
STOP 5a: SEPTEMBER 29 - Paris (Olivier)
JOURNEY 5b: After the Sept. 29 Paris show, Olivier hands the flag to ilbolchini, who brings it to the second Paris show the next night.
STOP 5b: SEPTEMBER 30 – Paris (ilbolchini)
JOURNEY 6: Paris to Turin
After the Sept. 30 Paris show, ilbolchini carries the flag home to Italy. On October 1 or 2, ilbolchini gives the flag to Giovanni.
