Stewart:would you ever do SPYRO type project with real drums

I was wondering if you ever did another video game or similar project would you ever be motivated to use real instruments?

Or is the way you write the score in Pro Tools that kind of dictates that you sequence computer parts?.

Just being nosey...Thanks.

(In my opinion I would love to hear something along the lines of the Rhytmatist soundtrack).

As Stewart said, "I am a computer guy"

Get your inner answer.

I'm a computer guy too.

I record real intruments and edit in Pro Tools. I wondered if he would do that on a Spyro type project of the future, that's all.

If he used real instruments, he'd have to most likely hire session musicians and I could see the price going exponentially higher. And there are other factors like deadlines and other things I'm sure I'm not even considering.

To Guest: That's true. True that, true that. Why waste an insane amount of money when you can use something that saves time and money.

I'm a computer gal but in terms more leaning towards games than music (though I try to make my own music too).

They did a concert of video game music at Wolf Trap in Northern Virginia last fall performed by an orchestra (It may have been performed by the National Symphony Orchestra with the video games displayed on large LCD screens in the background). Unfortunately, I didn't hear about it until after the performance happened because it sounded really cool. I hope they it again in and next time include some of Stewart's Spyro music.
