STEWART used to be in a band called STONE... something
I'll send an e-mail to Stewart - he should know!

he knew: it was Stonefeather
And that ^, my friends, is why Dietmar is a rock star.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Weeelllll... ok!
I understand know why I couldn't any additional information on Google. That was Stonefeather on one word, not two. And then, as I couldn't find nothing, I began to doubt about the name.

To answer a previous question, the name of the band was told to me by Stewart himself, but I have a little distorsion on my tape exactly at that very moment.

Bravo guys (especially Dietmar), you're the best ones here in Stewartcopeland.net. I should be back soon with another question. Don't want any mistake left in my work.

Light/Heavy

Stonefeather should have gone on the road as a triple bill with other light/heavy contradiction named bands of that era “Led Zeppelin” and “Iron Butterfly”.
No, that's not Frolkhaven and that's not in 1972 nor in California. I know that Stewart did a concert in Nice (France) around 1969 with that band Stone something.

Mmmm, apparently not so many people now about this...
Speaking of Frolkhaven, when I met Stewart years ago I asked him about that project and he claimed to have no memory of it!

Considering how stoned one needs to be to listen to the music of Frolkhaven, I'd imagine one would have needed to be equally (if not more) stoned to have created the music of Frolkhaven.

Dietmar, think you could get him to send picies of him in the band? I really wanna see a 17 year old Stewart.

I think he's a little busy right now. So I don't want to bother him too much...
