Special thread for Phaty's bitchy comments

Postby New Zealand Promoter on 30 Jun 2007 10:54

Here ya go! If you are that desperate to get snarky, here's a specially made thread for you. That way, the discussions you like to participate in with insults and complaints to the authors, you can leave alone and vent it all off here!

I'll get you started by making a 'controversial' comment which you can respond to with your typically thuggish vernacular:

Ahem:

Hey! I think it's great that the Police got together again... but I'm a geek and I enjoy discussing what's working and what's not... on some levels it's firing up well, like Copeland's drumming is a lot harder! On another level, some of the arrangements seem a bit slow.

Uh Oh, I hope Phaty doesn't read this! Wooooooo here he comes!

ENTER PHATY! (cue applause)

The second one named after me ... one day I'll be famous!
I can send you a bootleg of me bitching in front of the computer as soon as I read an anal-lyses you make with the help of a recording someone took with the microphone looking out of his open fly.
But that is more like HARDCORE TEKKNO ...

Can someone make a CD cover for this?
Go to flickr search for "phaty" and you'll find all kind of really nasty pictures of me looking bitchy.

Hehehehe! Glad you're getting into the spirit. Nothing like a good old fashioned ribbing, is there? I'm heading out, so my flickr search will have to wait.... :)

Where's the special thread for all the morons who can't enjoy the Police and instead need to try and examine every note to see which one is sampled?

Oh, wait, this one will do nicely. :)

I'd rather hear phaty bitch for hours than read one more post by some fuckhead who refuses to just STFU and listen and have fun.

or how about this: *don't read the posts / threads that you don't like.*

you can pretty much tell the subject by the first line or two. noone is making you read anything, let along insist that you start swearing at us for having a geeky discussion.

sheesh. you don't like the topic? move on from it. is there a gunman there telling you to read and comment on these discussions? if so, to ensure your safety, type us something in code, like: "i am an old woman who can't deal with other people's opinions".

Folks, we're just gonna have to have patience. This community has expanded about 1000% in the last couple of months and by all accounts, things are going to get more exciting in the weeks to come (which will surely translate into many more eyeballs, both here and on all the other Police-related sites).

Please realize things are hard to interpret in a 2-d medium like this one and try to grant folks the benefit of the doubt before you figure they're out to drive you bananas.

Remember: anyone who's a Stewart fan is already cool by default. Right? :)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Well...I followed the site as a lurker for quite a while, but I really think that your affirmation is a little broad...there are jerks everywhere.

Word, my friend.
Like the Bard from Wallsend would say
In this theatre that we call our soul
We always play the starring role.

(then he would lay down his lute with a pensive look on his handsome, tanned face).
