thepolice.com - am i this clueless?

Postby New Zealand Promoter on 30 Jun 2007 04:03

er..... do you have to be a paid member of thepolice.com to be able to view video content? or is it sufficient to be a 'virtual' member?

i am an unpaid account holder, with a virtual membership type thing. so, log in and password, bu haven't gone the whole hog.

i ask because up until a couple weeks ago, i was able to view video content and saw up to part 5 of the rehearsal footage etc.

suddenly, i can't view ANY videoa, and it's not my machine. i just tried logging in on my friend's PC and i still can't view the videos, only the community forum.

was i just lucky for a while, and i have to pay now? or is something wrong?

cheers for any solid answers that come my way....

I think you were very lucky for a while: I've never been able to see the vids until I became a paid member.

They seemed to have moved all the videos to the Virtual Ticket section now.. Stings on there now talking bout his lute again. I reckon it will be Andys turn next to talk about his replica guitar again as Stewart has already enlightened us all about his drums.

yes, but that doesn't answer my question.... do you need to be a paid member to see the videos, or is a 'free' membership enough?

phillippe says you need to pay.... is he right?

If you're able to see a show, that gets you a Virtual Membership and you can view all videos free of charge. I believe it's a 3 month trial membership. You either have a promo code on your ticket, or you tell them you can't find it and they email you one. I was able to catch up on all videos. You can't, however, try to win the trip to Miami for the Unplugged show. You have to be a full paid member for that.

I think the free videos a while back was a fluke. I enjoyed 'em, but then they became "members only content."
