So Lonely....Seattle Jun 7-Complete

Holy pick-it-apart Batman !

Here's the thing....analyse all ya want...it sounds great.

as Louis Armstrong said, "in music there's good n bad, if it's good you don't worry what it is".

It the same as if people on this forum were telling you exactly how to do YOUR job. You'd say "%$#@ off" you don't know what I do !

I think I'll trust the guys who frickin wrote and recorded the stuff, I think they know what they are doing.

Sounds Wicked Man !

Maybe it's just me.
Cheers.

I guess this video will put to rest whether or not Sting knows how to play bass using proper finger technique.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G9P5Z9D ... ed&search=

He changes back during the solo section though.

Like I said earlier, I think he chooses to play the way he does because the overhand finger technique doesn't "look" as good (even though he plays tighter using proper finger technique).

[quote="mudspoke"][quote="tj7"]*Any one still doubting about this pick business?*

1. Listen to 'Synch II' live from 1983.
2. Listen to 'Synch II' live from one of the latest shows.

Yes, listen to the Synch II live from 1983 recorded by professional equipment, mixed in a large studio, and produced by Godley and Creme.

Now, listen to a recent Synch II live from one of the recent shows recorded by a drunk concert-goer holding up his cellphone and oftentimes aiming it on stage. Try to hear the song amid screams of nearby fans.

Hear the difference?

recorded by an audience member with gear snuck in to the venue...

I think bootleggers should all be executed!
Bootleg collectors obviously should all be put in jail or sent to Australia ... !

And never forget boys - homefucking kills prostitution!

just the bootleggers? mate! i think anyone who owns a computer should be shot! they are probably using their machines for nefarious purposes, not the least of which would be the downloading of unreleased live police recordings, which is utter villainy! kill 'em all! anyone who has dared to enjoy a bootlegged, illegally recorded, sneakily captured police recording, burn your ears off! it's not the people recording these shows that are the problem, it's the villainous scum who dare to enjoy listening to these freely available recordings! hahahahahahahahahaaaaa! death to them all! i'm off to call my local record industry rep to put a stop to all of this!
