Heh.

So, before my show, I actually read my ticket, and like the robotic sheep that I am, I assumed they actually would be checking people for cameras. Now, I'm sure this is different from venue to venue, but I have yet to see shows that weren't videoed and/or photoed, and they obviously weren't done with cell phones.

Anyway, the one consolation is that a) other people have been taking better pictures than I would have gotten anyway, and b) I didn't have to spend any of the concert holding my arms up and looking through a viewfinder.

So, no advice here, since apparently I'm a wuss who follows the authorities' directions.

well, thanks anyway ewe herded pussy  sorry, couldn't resist.

i'm going to take it no matter what i think. i know that my msg ticket says no cameras and i don't see it on my fenway park ticket, so i'm definitely bringing it there. skip told me i wouldn't have a prob. & it's a small cannon elph dig., so i can tuck it "somewhere"... lots-a-room on this body unfortunately. tmi?

on another note... i see you cropped your gams. what's up with that? too much flack?

ps... i had a dream that i was 12 yrs. old, wearing tube socks and short shorts last night. where do you suppose that came from

In keeping with the G-rated nature of SC.net, I decided that my thighs might be a little disturbing for any young Copeland fans visiting. I also don't want to invoke the jealousy of any other men here. Finally, I decided my ladyfriend might like some level of exclusivity about who sees which parts of my body.

So yeah, I pretty much wussed out again.

Bring it! I had no problem at Dodger Stadium last night. I've seen cameras at other shows as well. Go for it!

It really depends on the venue. They weren't even checking purses in Vancouver. The guy with the ticket scanner asked if I was there for a hockey game (Yuk! Yuk!). I've heard of people having their digital cards taken and people being wanded at some venues. I think it's really hard to try to keep cameras out of concerts these days. Especially with the cell phones. Don't bring a big camera with fancy lenses and stuff, though.

I got to Dodger Stadium early.....They didn't even frisk me, and I immediately regretted not bringing my digicam. I think POSTING the shots may be a problem: I noticed that the posts here which had photos in them are gone now! Oh, well......guess I'll have to wait for the movie...

They'd be crazy if they started banning cameras because it's helping spreading the word about how much better the Police are looking and sounding as the tour has progressed. What better promotion can they get for free!

thanks guys, that's pretty much what i expected. i'm sure that it will be different everywhere. i have a plan... put the crappy (low) memory card in the camera and stash the good one somewhere else. i didn't even think about that. it makes more sense to take the card because the cameras are useless without them. i just didn't want them taking my camera. thanks! :)

i see the guy filming for the documentary at all the shows. that is who i'm seeing right? that should be really cool once it comes out. it's great to know that the ride doesn't end when the tour does.

It depends on the venue I guess. They barely even looked at me at Dodger Stadium. No pat-down, nothing. I could've brought an entire studio and recorded the show. At the Honda Center they checked us pretty good though.

It seems that unless you're bringing in a pro-camera with a huge zoom lens or something, you should be fine.

Friend of mine who went to the Denver shows even called the venue before hand and got this same answer officially, so if you're worried you can always call ahead and ask.
