Precisely. But we're closer to four feet away from each other.

And you can come to Europe as well, of course! We've been wanting to see Ireland, after all . . .
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
Tee hee. I'd have to sell my other kidney, plus a limb, for Turin.

Dublin is much more affordable . . . but I wouldn't hold my breath. We can send it out to the spirits, but this be the material world.

(Welcome home, btw. And happy birthday to Trevor!)
Hey, once we're in Dublin, we're in Europe. Bet we could travel on the cheap from there!

Thanks for the welcome home, and the birthday wishes! (Although the birthday boy woke up in a bit of a surly mood...what's up with that??? Is HE the one working his tiny little butt off to make this a special day?? Grrrr...the ugly face of parenting rears its head!! Oops...wrong thread!!)

...You do realize, of course, that your increasingly active involvement and support for all things Copeland can and will be perceived as tacit approval for any and all "field work" that could require DM to suddenly take to the skies and/or highways?!
That's cool. It goes on the list I measure my Trek fan activity against.
So, all this Trek activity of which you speak...have you not discovered the secrets of astral travel in your gatherings? Can you beam us to Turin??

Yes, I DO have a very active imagination! If anyone ever gets in there, I could be in trouble!!

Hopefully, there aren't any tribbles in your imagination, Nancy. We wouldn't want any troubles with tribbles.

Trek canon tells us that transporters won't be invented for another couple of hundred years. I'm not that optimistic.

I volunteer for a couple of film crews that are producing new episodes of the old series. It's a real hoot.

Also, being called "Mr. DM" makes me think I'm running a Dungeons & Dragons game, which is very funny.

No worries, kimmy. Drop in the bucket. And anything for a laugh.

You did say you needed to find a way for the flag to get to Amsterdam, did you not??

So tempting, sweetie, but Amsterdam costs almost as many organs as Turin.

(So far the most "affordable" (laugh) cities to get to from here are Dublin, Dusseldorf, Manchester, and Paris. Yes, I've looked. Shut up.

Europe is so very far away.)

Just got an AmEx bill that looks like the national debt for a small country! What exactly does a kidney bring on the open market these days?!?!?
