So who here has kids?

Postby dafttart on 22 Jun 2007 21:20

Ooooooooh what a horrible thought

Perhaps I'll let them sleep and get a shot of my knobbley knees in tube socks instead :D

I had great fun yesterday with the tube socks........

I think we could expland on Spec A's Question.... Who has kids who roll their eyes when they hear anything Police/Stewart related in a parent/child role reversal?

I got 2 kids of my own. Kyla, 9, is bummed that I'm taking my sister and not her to the concert. Lorelei, 3, is learning to identify " 'tewart, 'tink, and An-DEE". We're working on it.

I haven't had role reversal yet, except with my hubby. He's a die hard Star Trek fan, and now he gets to see me wig out over something, and isn't quite sure how to handle it. I get a lot of sighing and head shaking in my general direction these days.

Ooooh me too! I knelt on a nail sticking out of my doll's house when I was about 5, which left a fab scar :D

My knees are not pretty so we'd be advised to have lots of alcohol to dull the pain of veiwing!

Haha! Well, a pint of shandy is all it takes to get me tipsy so it shouldn't be too hard. I flaunt mine with pride though!

Kids: None of my own but my wife has 2 daughters, 1 son and 1 granddaughter. That makes me a grandpa by proxy?

Knees: Likely knobbier than Dafttart's and best left covered up.
°My kid wants to be an influencer.
What the hell does that mean?
°It means I’ve failed as a parent.

Childfree-by-choice also...just don't want the responsibility. Although I love other people's kids...I have a few nieces and nephews, lots of cousins, etc. so I get to play Cool Aunt a lot. ;)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Hell yeah - I plan to be the coolest aunt EVER! Not that I will be letting my little niece play dress-up with my vintage clothes which I just KNOW she's going to want to!

No kids and don't want any. i have 8 nieces and nephews and the time I spend with them, even though I love them to death, is enough for me to know I don't want the responsibility either.
