Andy's photobook

*swoon*

My copy of "I'll Be Watching You" just arrived today. (I've got #306 of the 1,500 limited run).

Holy...this book is beautiful. The printing quality is exquisite and a work of art all in its own right. I'm almost afriad to handle it with bare hands! Any doubts about whether it was worth the pricetag are long forgotten (of course, it helps that someone bought it for me as a gift, but still...seeing it now I would have bought it with my own money without a second thought.)

*wanders off to revel in the amazing pictures for a while...*

Who's your friend?

Lucky girl. To buy here in Australia. $920.00 AUD. Just a little too much for me.

I can't wait to get Lynn's new book. That is ordered and will be released in Australia in September.

Well I hope you are enjoying your book and can't praise you enough for your wonderful site.

Jan.

I just go in Paris tomorrow to get back my copy #1207 that a friend of mine bought for me 3 weeks ago.
Three weeks !!! how could I wait so much time ???

Visions, you have to wait for a more reasonable version of Andy's book.
Don't really know when it will be released (August I think) and how much it will cost...

Can't wait for Lynn Goldsmith's book too !!!

I'm going to be curious to see how the print quality in the standard edition compares with the limited edition (I'll surely purchase the standard one as well for "regular reading"...vespapod will scream at me if I get too many fingerprints on the limited edition one!) This one is just gorgeous as far as how the images are reproduced.

On amazon.co.uk it's only £16.49 - bargain bargian bargain.
I know what sockii is saying about the print quality though - I bet the posh one is bloody gorgeous.

Thanks for the info on both the more affordable version as well as the heads up RE Andy's site. Unfortunately, the navigation panel doesn't seem to be working for the Police photos....though I love the shot of his tele in the 'Throb' section. Stewart was right to bug Andy about using that guitar more in Seattle....that's THE Police guitar IMO.

I'm a book collector as well, but I'll be happy just to see the book, even if it's not on archival paper and whatnot.

Affordable version = grocery bills for a month ;)
