We've taken over whole threads in the past discussing T-shirt possibilities... I think Team Copeland ones with our user names on the back would be very cool. We've got enough flippin' artists and designers on here to come up with a decent design, that's for sure! I've always liked sockii's slogan "Stewart Copeland will always be cooler than you" personally. Although "What would SC do?" has a place in my heart also.
i like all of those ideas, but i'm no artist, so count me out on design!

if someone eventually comes up with a design, i can certainly get some samples of shirts and get a screen made up and print them at cost.

keep it in mind. i'd love to do something like that if everyone else wants too.

I don't know what will work!
Nothing will work. All the systems are easily thwarted, and there's nothing saying that any one of us regulars isn't on the Dark Side either.

Stewart will speak when he can (and wants to). Unless he trusts one of us enough to email him or her personally (such as Gio), we'll all just have to deal. Not to mention, he's a bit busy at the moment. Doing some temp job with lots of travel or something.

Anyway, if Stewart ever just wants to chat amongst his people, he can easily sign up under a pseudonym. Otherwise, he'll just have to put up with us in silence from his ivory tower.

Cool, PR! We'll have to keep that in mind. Thanks!
I'll volunteer my email address to Stewart :D He can send me updates when he gets breaks from his "temp job." I'll share with the forumers who've been members since before "the" post. It could work! Right, Gio?! Gio??

I don't really foresee a blog on Bonnaroo happening, for the sheer fact that it was virtually a non-event for the band. My understanding is they were in and out, with little time for sight-seeing. As far as general comments on the 'roo, we already know of Stewart's enthusiasm for it.

But i also don't believe Stewart is in any way restricting himself from posting. Whether he is under advice from band management, well i have no clue. The public is widely aware of Police infighting and Stewart's own all-in-fun self-criticism was largely cast in that light by the "professional" media. In the scope of things, such stories have only added to their legend, really. I can't see them taking the press brouhaha too seriously. Their rep is virtually immune to negative press at this point. Of course, whether such a thing as "negative press" even exists is debatable...

He's on a tour right now that is pretty much all-consuming. He has posted a bit here and there when he's been able and i suspect he will continue to do so.

What I find interesting is that someone on TPT is saying that Al Gore was at Bonnaroo and was prepared to speak before and introduce the Police before that show, but that at the last moment the decision was made to scuttle the remarks and intro and the Police just played...the quoted source was people backstage plus the fact that Roo was heavily supported by Gore's channel, I can't believe I didn't hear anything about this from InfooRoo (they seem to be all-knowing) and it seems really strange to have a speech and intro before the headliner at a festival [besides Live Earth, which is designed differently]...anyone hear anything about this?
