join flickr.com and go to your profile and paste a link from flickr in the avatar section. if you want to steal a pic there to use - like I did - you dont even have to join!

Of course this brings attention. I was asked what I was looking at. I had to go into detail what about this tread. Needless to say they just looked at me as if I had some kind of mental problem :roll:

they talked to me softly and backed out of the room. So I'm off to find some socks I can't believe I'm doing this.

i would imagine that only people on this site would understand. just make sure that your job doesn't have a negative policy about mental instability before you let someone else in your office!

Howdy, folks. I'm DirtyMartini's husband, the guy who painted the flag.

I'd like to pay my compliments to you all as the highly-focused individuals who make up SC fandom.

Speaking as an old Trekkie, I think I'm out of my league here. You guys are obviously having lots more fun, and don't seem to feel the need to argue about the finer points of the nerdery I've been trading in.

For what it's worth, I wear tube socks whenever the weather permits. Sadly, I haven't had the figure for short-shorts since shortly after "An Englishman in New York" reared his silly head.
