Postby Laz on 21 Jun 2007 09:14

Oh, and of course I danced and jumped up and down and sang and yelled at the very top of my lungs almost the entire show...
Jay Thomas ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0858988/ )kept walking past me (I had an aisle seat) and looking at me wierd.

Laz

ps. Dustin Hoffman was there, too...

Great pic, Dietmar.
but they did stick with Message, Synch II and Walking On The Moon for the first three, and despite Walking On The Moon being a "slower" song, I find it really fits beautifully in that 3rd slot)
"Moon" and NOT "Don't Stand" was 3rd? Interesting. That's new, isn't it?
(I haven't seen any Vegas or Phoenix setlists.)

Thanks for the report, Laz! Have fun at Anaheim!

And thanks for the info on "Spirits," JJS.

And YAY to Andy for MIAB!
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Great report Laz.

How was the sound at Staples? I was very impressed by the audio at Key Arena in Seattle.

Oh, I thought that was the look on Stewart's face after seeing all the tube sock avatars on here.

Yes, this was another awesome show! Replying to several people's posts... "Spirits" was also skipped in Phoenix and I believe "Walking On the Moon" was 3rd in Phoenix, too. The sound at Staples, despite expectations, was great from where my seats were... can't wait for Dodger Stadium!

The sound was not that bad where I was... not terribly crisp and clear, but alright for an indoor arena...

Previous to Staples, as some of my fellow SoCal people will attest, arena shows were held at the Fabulous Forum, perhaps the world's very worst-sounding large venue in history.

Your choices in audio quality at the Forum, depending where your seats were located, were "shrill" or "mud", with nothing in between. I do NOT miss seeing shows there!
