Mr. Greco,

Since you have resorted to name calling (sigh), I am referring to your original post:

"I would luv 2 see Stewart and Andy jam with another singer. The Police R a Lamborghini driving in first gear. Sting has stifled this great band. Andy And Stew r ready 2 take off but Sting is slamming the brakes. It's so frustrating because u know whats under the hood ie (Stew and Andy) but they don't get a chance to rev it up."

I wouldn't comment on my reading skills until you take a writing class.

the rumour started from an e-mail armand himself sent to me in french. i didn't talked to him about this since then, and never wanted to ask him about more specifications. perhaps it was supposed to be maybe 1 or 2 gigs. stewart and andy wanted to do something together, with or without Stingo. regards

Yep. You guys need to chill out. Calling people names is a no-no, so is characterizing their opinions as "crap." Gio's pretty low-key, but don't think he's going to let people start getting into brawls around here. (You want to fight with people and call them names? Go hang out on the ThePolice.com. It's like the Wild West over there...as far as I can tell there are no moderators.)

Not that I think I need to defend my opinion, but I can tell anyone who wouldn't want to see Oysterhead do another tour hasn't seen them live. Ditto for the Gizmo stuff, which I'd hazard a few members around here haven't ever heard of, much less heard for themselves.

This is Stewart's message board. As such, many of us here are fans of his solo work.
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Divemisstress is 100% correct. I sincerely apologize for my dismissal of another's opinion. It was uncalled for and I am sorry. It will not happen again.

I guess reading the negative press and posts has gotten to me. It is still no excuse.

Loads of pissed off people around this Police Tour ... !
I still stick with my plan:
Blind devotion, unconditioned love and as long as they stand on stage and breath I consider it a great gig!
I spent 499.99 US$ every year on bad food and internet porn - I don't mind to spent 120 to see the greatest band in the world. And if it feels like one song might be a little too slow I just scream louder ...

So loooooooooooooooonelyyyyyyyy ... !
I'll be first in line to buy tix if Stewart gets around to playing the U.S. with Gizmo, Andy or no Andy. That Notte della Taranta stuff is incredible.
I'm with you there Miss D!! I love "Notte" It would have been so wild to have been in the crowd experiencing that. The electricity in the air must have been incredible.

I'd love to see a Gizmo tour, too.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!

"Halo, Mario, Zelda, Warcraft, Metal Gear Solid, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, Everquest II, God of War, Medal of Honor, Myst, Tron, and a classic arcade medley from Pong to Donkey Kong"

What the f*ck! They missed off Chuckie Egg & Jet Set Willy!!!

Kingdom Hearts is a bit shmaltzy isn't it... and where is Spyro and Fade to Black ?

yes i started the rumour, if you want. no need of polemic. it was just an information from the protagonist himself, not from some obscure news report on the internet. but we shall forget it, because it will not happen, unless sting brakes a leg or something…

DirtyMartini, I suggest to close the discussion here, because it turns in something else: like a strike between those who will masturbate with the police what ever happens, and those who don’t even sought of masturbating with the police.

I mean, on 1 hand, Stewart is a top musician, Andy is a top musician and Sting is a top singer/musician/composer. There is not only 1 police, it’s deeper then that.

But in surface, it appears to be the archetype of the mass production product :
Music companies lose money, because no one buys records anymore… so let’s do a tour and sell tickets for concerts. What singing? Let them do all the back catalogue, we will than be able to sell again.

This double - reality is sad but true.

I don’t want to fight with you. We often don’t talk about the same things… it’s the only reason for some arguing.

peace my friends
Philip
