Some songs are better represented than others. SPIRITS, FOOTSTEPS and INVISIBLE nearly went completely unfilmed.

To the best of my knowledge, no 5/30 audio has surfaced. This is the biggest missing piece to this project.

What we need to is any and all footage that can be added. Please hassle all youtubers who have uploaded Vancouver footage. What we need most of all is all of their "raw digital data", but a dvd rip of even a youtube rip could be used if nothing else.

We also need still photos, for use of a "slide show" during parts of the concert that are missing pieces. I know that many hardcore Police/Sting fans attended and thoroughly documented the visuals of the Vancouver performances.

We will credit anything we use.

While I'm all for 'of the people and for the people', I can't imagine this NOT being stopped by the Police management since it's already been stated that they will be releasing a DVD covering this reunion tour...maybe if the video was a not for profit venture, which I'd doubt it is.

ummm... where exactly does he say he's gonna sell it?

he uses the word 'bootleg' and these days, it's been so widely reappropriated by live music geeks that it does not necessarily mean "unauthorised recording for the purpose of (illegal) commercial use".

sorry to rain on this guys parade, but using DVD encoded youtube footage will look like absolute shit... and has anyone seen the 'lamb lies down on broadway' fan DVD? half of it plays over photo stills. again, it just looks terrible, breaks the flow.

I third that. I believe he's going to trade it or tree it out. I must say, even with still photos in the mix, this sounds like a really cool fan made dvd that I would love to get a copy of.

- Most of the Footage is from video Cameras or Digitial cameras and it is Real not from youtube.

There's a rumour that the Police are going to come back to Vancouver for another show?! I read it online... although I read July & that seems far too soon. I noticed Toronto is getting three shows, 2 in July & one more in I believe November.

So, how about make the OFFICIALLY released Police tour 2007 DVD all about Vancouver.

The rehearsals in Vancouver, ... then footage from the May 27, 28, & 30 concerts. Then the Police can come back & give us another show after that when they are all warmed up from touring.

Since May 30th was deemed the disaster show (I was at the May 27th & May 30th concerts), how about those of us with tickets from May 30th can use them to attend the new show which will be specially filmed for the DVD. (I had front row on May 30th!)
