I bought the original K.K. album back in the late 70s, and proceeded to play it to death on my father's turntable. I ended up buying another copy on vinyl, as well as a 7" single, in the early 80s because I had worn the other so badly!
When Kollected Works came out, I of course bought a copy, but had no idea it would become such a hot item. Not as hot as the VERY limited run of the original K.K. album on CD (it pops up on eBay very occasionally), which I've been dying to buy.
Stewart should really just put out a two or three CD set of his material, I'm sure there's much, much more in his vaults besides what he's released--stuff that we'd all love and appreciate (and buy). Include a groovy booklet with pictures and essays & other writings, and I'm sure it would be a hit.
(on a side note, if anyone has a real, non-mp3 rip of the original K.K. CD, I wouldn't mind seeing it show up on Demonoid...
)
Cheers
