Well, and I trust Stewart's judgment. He isn't going to get up there and put on a crap performance. Even if he is getting steamrollered on certain things, he's going to play the hell out of whatever he's got to work with.

That said, I hope his vision of a freeform set at Bonnaroo comes to pass, at least partially.

Yeah, I love Stewart and Andy's songs (OK maybe not Mother so much) but without Sting's song writing we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

I refuse to believe that Sting is capable of forcing anything down either Andy or Stewart's throats. He's just not that persuasive.

But then again I'm an unapologetic apolgist and a Sting fanatic. His reworking of "I burn for You" and "The World is Running Down" from the Blue Turtles era were brilliant. If the new arrangements are anywhere near that good, I'll be happy.

This show was SO memorable for me, as I made the 400 mile drive north just for the show.

Was worth every expense, and will NEVER forget how much FUN I HAD!!

very sober, very well said. i concur. but sting became really adult contemporary-ish when he went solo, throughout the years. he's changed. he's not Sting, but... STING. Stewart and Andy would go along with more than we may presume, I think. Particularly Stewart. He's gone on the record as saying he's happy to follow Sting's lead. They have already succeeded. Neither Andy or Stew have any reason to argue with Sting any more.
