Does anyone already has listened Masoko Tanga live.

And if you did, was before or nowadays?

As far as I know it was never done live. If so, I've never seen it.

The Lips have the same show over and over again. And a fifteen minute rendition of Yoshimi is not my cup of tea. I left halfway through their set last year at Lolla, I wasn't impressed.

Yeah, I must be the only one. Haha.

Chad, i would seriously freak the f%$k out if ANY of your ideas come to pass...

I've stammered on before about Masoko being my fave Police tune, so that would be a personal favorite dream come true, if only a long shot.

Considering Stewart's history with Ziggy, i thought them joining forces to be an unlikely event. But if Duke is correct that they've done it before, well there could never be a better time!

The Other Way of Stopping... OMG!

I'd bet anything I own we see Stewart more than once this weekend. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we run into him wandering around taking in concerts...but I'm dying to get a hint if he's going to sit in with anybody.

Damn those idiot journalists who've made it so hard for him to talk to us these days. I bet we'd have got an update by now otherwise.

Maybe we could get Gio to email him and report back if there's anywhere special we might need to show up on Sunday...(crap. Bet that'd wind up in the press now too....#$%^!)

That almost settles it. The idea that i might actually get to interact with Stewart nearly has me convinced to pony up for a portable dvd player so i can try to fry his brain in three minutes. It's amazing the music you can get people to listen and respond to if you give them something to look at! :)

I'm thinking Sunday we should fan out and keep a sharp eye on all stages. If there's a reliable communications network in place we can use it to keep everyone informed of any announced Stewart performances. Keep your fingers crossed on those cell phones!

i think the press incident might have been invented. The band are just laughing at these idiots running around pointing at what they're doing and essentially drawing comic book word balloons around their utterances. They're still talking about the Police. Critics need something to talk about too. They just have to express their interest negatively. 8)

Who knows, about the forum post blowup...doesn't seem like Stewart to be setting up drama here on the forum, though...

And I have zero inside info on seeing Stewart out wandering around. It's just that I suspect him to be a gigantic music geek and there are some really great bands playing this weekend....

I doubt ANYone has any inside info on who Stewart might be jamming with Sunday, if anybody. I was just suggesting putting our networking to good use :) Of course, if he only did one or two songs with somebody else, it's likely we wouldn't all be able to catch it. Still, if someone were to spot him on an unannounced stage we should make the effort to contact our brethren!

As far as him just wandering around, that'd be so cool to see too. But i suspect he will have access to viewing areas most of us won't, being a member of the headlining band and all.

And obviously Stewart can't control the media, if it sounds like i'm implying he initiated a press firestorm. "Invented" refers to, you know, the people trying to "invent" more inter-band vitriol... namely the press themselves!

In some ways i don't even blame them. Probably a lot of folks writing such pieces these days grew up reading about them and are just spitting out what's been programmed into them for 20+ years. The Police in-fighting is the stuff of legend...

It's also obvious those folks aren't paying one bit of attention. The giveaways are when somebody drops a line like "With his track record...blahblahblah." We all know Stewart is conscientious and good-hearted. He's more than considerate of us and he loves his mates. But conflict sells papers...

Stewart was just doing what he does, namely blogging on his own website. There's more people paying attention right now, but i seriously doubt that's going to inhibit him from saying whatever's on his mind, if he wants some feedback or to just touch base!

Ah, Masoko live would put me over the edge into mental illness...

I cannot wait to see this webcast on Saturday. I would love to catch Tool on Friday but I have plans. :-( Wolfmother on Sunday sounds like a winner though.
