Check out Roxanne from Seattle date 1 on youtube. Stewart FLYS thorugh the verse. Sting turns around and gives stew the Look of Death! The police of old is truly back.

I know about you, but I like these songs FAST. Now all stew has to do is speed up the rest of them.

Oh i didnt see this LONG version (link above). Clearly, Andy starts like a BAT OUT OF HELL. This is the Zenyatta tour tempo!

Compare this to Sting's Ten Summoners Tales tour. It's alomst DOUBLE the tempo.

If you've got a link for the look of death, GM, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would enjoy seeing it . . .

Now we're getting there thank god :)

I've seen enough sting shows with reworked arrangments of songs and what not.

I want the police version of the songs.

Sorry if that rubs some of you the wrong way but that's my preference and I'm stickin' to it.

This version of Roxanne is possibly the best live version ever.

It kicks the SHIT out of any solo Sting version and kills the synchronicity tour versions. Bar none.

How does sting's voice sound better on this song than it did 20 years ago?

I told you guys that their current version of Roxanne can easily stand up to any version on any bootleg from any previous tour! So far they've been absolutely KILLIN' with this one both nights I saw them!

The octobans (manufactured by TAMA, along with the rest of his drumkit) are the four long, tube-like things to Stewart's left (the side of his drumkit closest to Andy). Stewart is one of very, very few drummers who has been using these instruments as an important ingredient to his sound and style, and we drummers who are Stewart Copeland fanatics tend to get rather excited whenever he hits one or more of them at a show. At least I do!!
