Is there room for St. Paul in the Schedule

Postby Jennythenipper on 06 Jun 2007 22:20

St. Paul is July 3rd. It will be between New Orleans and Cleveland.

I would certainly be willing to bear it and send it on to the Cleveland rep Fedex or whatever.

This is a great idea, BTW.

Ha!

Jenny, send me an email so that I can contact you off-board. I'm not sure if we can get the flag to you fast enough, but I'll let you know.

Olivier, I love your enthusiasm! We may have a problem getting the flag from Paris to Turin fast enough. I'll email you with details.

GIOVANNI!!! By any chance, will you be in Paris on Sept 29th?

Thank you!

Hola, checking in! DM, you rock! This is like coordinating the landing at Omaha Beach, lol!

I'm going to the shows listed below. Let me know if I can be of assistance in any way. Stew, I'm a flagpole to your nation! I would be honored to carry the Kinetic flag.

July 31 Hartford
August 3 MSG

November 3 Atlantic City

Hey, Kim! Thanks for volunteering! I just emailed you with details and questions. Hartford is kinda out, but I'm sure sockii and I can share the NYC-area duties.

Sockii, think vespapod would mind sharing with Kim at AC? Since she actually volunteered and all?

The mailing schedule wouldn't change -- the three of us would just need to coordinate later about how to pass the flag along in person and decide who takes MSG on 8/3. (Best seats wins?)

In which case, the newly tweaked assignments would look something like this:

NORTH AMERICAN LEG 1 - CONFIRMED
5/27 & 5/28 - Vancouver (done!)
6/16 - Bonnaroo (Divemistress)
6/23 - Dodgers (bella)
6/29 - Houston (Spec A!)
6/30 - New Orleans (GinaSuperCat)
7/16 - Cleveland (DirtyMartini)
7/22 - Toronto (nancyrose)
7/28 - Boston (Skip)
8/1 - MSG (sockii or DirtyMartini)
8/3 - MSG (sockii, Kim, or DirtyMartini)
8/5 - Giants (DirtyMartini)
-----
EUROPEAN LEG -- VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
9/8 & 9/9 - London (Hannah & dafttart)
9/13 & 9/14 - Amsterdam (GinaSuperCat) (PENDING)
9/22 - Munich (phaty)
9/29 - Paris (Olivier) (PENDING)
10/2 - Turin (Giovanni)
10/10 - Mannheim (phaty)
10/16 - Manchester (howardhughes) (PENDING)
10/19 - Cardiff (smudge)
-----
NORTH AMERICAN LEG 2 - VOLUNTEERS (and a complete tour calendar) WANTED!
10/31 - MSG (sockii)
11/3 - Atlantic City (vespapod & Kim)

I'm running about a 75%-80% chance of the stade de france show, meaning that if there are no other scheduled concerts the flag's been committed to between Amsterdam and Paris I can transport the flag home and bring it back out to Paris to give to Gio for Turino, if that's any help...If it makes thing more difficult, then please go with what works best! I'm sure Gio is super busy right now but I do know that in the tour/tickets section he started a thread about who'g also going to Paris, so it looks like he'll be there!

Thanks, GSC.

I'm not yet sure how Amsterdam will shake out. I think that might only be able to work if we send the flag directly to your hotel in Amsterdam. If we can make Amsterdam work -- AND if Gio is attending Paris -- then you could bring it to Paris for Olivier, then you guys could hand it to Gio. That would rock.

[ETA: I totally lied. That idea ^ misses Munich. Never mind -- still figuring it out. But thanks for the info, GSC.]

The more we avoid the mail, the better. You beautiful Flag-Bearers also get to be, well, Flag Mules.

I'll email Gio later -- just thought I'd give it a shot in case he hopped on.

Looks like I better get organising too...

Who volunteers to down a celeberatory 'Stewart Copeland' pint of lager at each gig?

I can do Twickers..

(PS you don't actually have to goto the gig to do this - but it helps)

we should have transported the Flag by mule from gig to gig.

...it would have been sad to see such a tired donkey by the end though.

Then when Stewart finally got it he would say to himself..."this flag smells like the Polo pitch".

I think we all agree that I should stop posting today. I am very bored at work and just wanna go home and drum.

I sound like Todd Rudgren!

Mooky Mooky !!!!
