When I was 13 or so there was one video store in town that had Around the World on Vhs. One night I rented it and held a tape recorder up to the Tv speaker to record the whole thing. My mom was a teacher and I gave her a bunch of police pics to take to school and copy. I designed my own cover and everything. I made it that Maxell tape and the case look as offical as possible.

And now the police are touring again and I'm sitting here looking at that tape and case I made as a kid.

and sorry to contradict you: there are no footages of the Rockpalast concert in "Around The World".
The link you post about the scene in DeDoDa where Sting spit on a guy in the audience, is from the Fréjus concert in France, August 28, 1980.
The Rockpalast concert is available both in audio and video... and it's a very good show !

yeah I know. So's the Truth Hits Everybody in Around the World. I've been looking for that show for years as well as the Bombay show. I know both of those bastards are out there somewhere.
