I'm finally going to get a record player.
Anyone know a nice one that is relativley inexpensive that would hook up to my stereo?
How do you clean a record (I have tons, I'm sure they need to be cleaned first)?
Do 45's need a, like, mini record player?
What else do I need to know?
"The 25 year old Technics turntable that you pick up at a garage sale or thrift store for $20 will be of better quality than any new turntable that sells for a reasonable price. The old ones were made to last though, and they'll sound great if they've been kept in reasonably good shape. You might want to replace the needle or cartridge..."
>>With that what is a cartridge, and where can I get one of thoes, and a new needle?
