Conroy's Vancouver Blog (with photos)

Postby sockii on 01 Jun 2007 11:47

Hey all,

Conroy has graciously allowed me to host his blog on the Vancouver Fan Club show & trip on my website--you can view it here along with his photos:

http://www.tookooltokalypso.org/conroy_vancouver.html

If anyone else would like to have any reports, reviews, blogs, etc hosted on tookool, just let me know! I'd also be happy to put up any show photos or related in the gallery section of the site.

(Oh, almost forgot to add he sent me some video too, which I just may need to resize the files before I can put them up--my server is being flaky. But I'll bump this thread when I have 'em done...)

Excellent! Can't wait to read it.

Conroy/Sockii, if you'd like a larger photo of Conroy, let me know. (I had shrunk it so that I wouldn't kill Conroy's email account.)

Once I get pics processed for Eugenio, I'll send 'em your way, sockii. Thanks!
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

I dunno how on earth we're going to survive Bonnaroo without all you guys. Seriously. It just won't be the same without all the 'regulars'...but I'm sure you'll be there in spirit.

Thanks conroy!! Can't wait to hang out with you in Dallas in less than one month! Woohoo!!!

Aw shucks! You guys are just too much. I'm cringing now that I'm seeing all the glaring grammatical errors. I only had a really short window of time in which I had to write it. I didn't get home from the Vancouver until about 2:00 pm Monday afternoon (I left Vancouver around 11:30 pm on Monday night) and hardly slept on the plane rides back since both segments were booked solid and I couldn't lie down on the seats at all. I've been busy at work catching up on stuff because I'll be out of town on business all next week so last night was the only time I really had to work on it. One chonological error I just realized is that Miguel introduced himself to me at the Fiction Plane show on Saturday night and not in line at GM Place.

Thanks for all the kind words, and I can't wait to hang out with you again, Dive, in Dallas. I was disappointed with the hot wings I ordered in Vancouver since even the hottest wings I could get weren't as hot as I was expecting and Michelle said they're way hotter in Texas. I want them so hot they brings tears to my eyes!

Dallas is going to get here faster than a Texas twister!

Hi Conroy!

Nice job on the blog...I really enjoyed reading it.

So glad I was able to meet you and chat a bit outside Gate 10. I hope we have the chance for a longer conversation down the road...you seem like an awfully nice guy!

After your trek to the Whiskey and not being able to get in (although it resulted in a great blog), I was really, really happy to see that you were able to be at the FC show...it crossed my mind a few times and I forgot to mention it <smile>
