Watched a few more times. Still can't ID Stew. Must need stronger glasses. They sound soooo good! I want Friday and Saturday to zoom by!

I can't believe the people outside the fence are just standing there in indifference. 'Scuse people...is anybody alive in there? Grasp the links. Sway. Bounce on the balls of your feet. Shiiiiiit, I'd be trying to climb over the damn thing!!

you cant ID stew because your not watching both videos. Watch the CTV footage as well--from the chopper. The link is a few posts down in this thread.

Hmm...that stage is pretty cool. However, I have to say I'm kind of hoping (actually more for their sake than my own) that the performances you can hear on the one video are being played at "rehearsal intensity"...i.e. Sting saving his voice, taking it slow, etc. Otherwise, the concerns many have had about "soft Sting" dominating the proceedings may turn out to be true...

Can't tell if the BG vocals are live or sampled...did look like Andy was at the mic...if they're live, Andy and Stewart are doing a good job.

Fantastic!!!! Nice to heard what they'll play in some hours for that lucky audience...

"Truth hits Everybody" sounds awesome in this slow rythm...also "Every little thing" sounds great... but be careful..is a rehearsal so Sting's voice is in a flat way as he sang in rehersals until the real performance with a more powerfull peak... but in these way sounds clera and perfect...the same with the backings of Andy and Stew... Guitar sounds great!

How can I watch the CTV clip? I dont know how to serach it...any direct link or more secific instructions to watch it???

It sounds like they have transposed everything down to save Sting's voice so that is probably part of why it sounds less "intense"...but I think it sounds really cool. It will be very interesting to hear all the songs in a slightly different way than we've all been used to. I think the energy will be there for the actual shows though.

I'm kind of jealous of the people that will get to see the outdoor show now...but I guess I can't complain. I still can't believe I'm going to see them play live..for the first time...and twice to boot!
