Not intending to preach to the choir. Cancer sucks.
Any kind. No matter how it is acquired.

HOWEVER, there is all kinds of scientific data that links smoking to lung cancer. One can make behavioral changes that may decrease their chances of getting cancer. QUIT!!! I know it's not easy, especially if you've been a lifetime smoker. I have a friend who's Stewart's age and smoked all her life. It took a heart attack and 3 angioplasties before she quit. But she did it!!

I must agree, Kimmy, that I never liked that about him either. I wrote it off as a youthful vice (like mine was). *sigh*

That's it. I'll get off my soapbox now.

I didn't mean to start something here.... just wondered.......

However all we all want to do is make sure Stewart stays around for a long time......

I always seem to harp on about my husband... but here's a quote he used to use about why he didn't give up......

'Why give up...? I could get hit by a bus tomorrow and die.......'

Well everyone I got news for you!!!

He did get hit by a bus and didn't.... I don't think he'll ever give up... So I've given up trying to make him instead!!

Stewart do what you want we still love you..... Just don't blow that smoke in my direction please...

Kim

To Sockii and Copelandos_damour: Sorry about the delay, I couldn't remember where I picked it up from. It hit me today. It was from a fan appreciation myspace site, in their pics section. www.myspace.com/thepolice2007 (If anyone wants it, that can't get to it, drop me an email, and I'll share. )

My opinion on the smoking thing. This is reminiscent of another thread that went wayward into the realm of plastic bubbles, padded rooms, and suspended animation.

But isn't that the case with all the threads on here? (which is why I keep coming back for more!).

Y'all are just jealous of the sheer brilliance of the suspended animation idea.

And considering SC's deafening silence of late . . . . One never knows, do one?
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Jest if you must. But as far as we know, The Man is safe and unharmed thus far. Don't be dissin' suspended animation and electrical impulses ( for keeping the muscles working).
