Hub just ruined my day. Apparently tix are going on sale tomorrow for a small (500 person) White Stripes show here in Nashville on Friday.

I'm leaving town for a dive trip. Tomorrow.

Ya, I know kinda how you feel...they are playing at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC and even though I'm signed up on the WS website for advanced notice (at least I thought I was), by the time I saw it on the House of Blues Roster it was already sold out...

Have a great time on your trip...I bet as soon as you are there, this will all just roll right off...then when you return the Bonnaroo Countdown Thread will be ready and waiting for you!!!

Heh. Yeah, I was whining again to Hub about this over the dinner table. His remarks: "Yep, lots of sympathy for you lying around on the beach while I WORK all week..."

Couldn't say a word. Here's hoping he gets to go. He was kind of dithering, because the acoustics at this venue sort of suck...and the tix are sold online only. His workplace has one of those stupid Net-Nanny filters that might prevent him from completing a purchase. Poor Hub.
