Fans to be interviewed in Vancouver by Gert_Peter Bruch

Postby giovanni on 13 May 2007 13:07

Hi from Giovanni.
Get-Peter Bruch (most of you know him as he talked about his movie about The Police he's working at), will be in Vancouver and would like to interview and film some fans going to the show.
If you feel like you want to help him (and I know you want!), get in touch with me privately and I will get your request that I will send to Gert.
He will then get in touch with you directly.

Personally speaking, Gert is a great guy, working very hard for the movie he's making about The Police and I'm sure we will all love what he's doing.
He released a very good book about Sting about ten years ago, and this is his new project based on The Police.

Let's give him a very good help!
Hey, you will be filmed in a movie about The Police, how cool is that?

Ciao ciao
Giovanni

I get the occasion to ask you if you know if his new Police movie will be out in Italy too, or in Dvd through channels where we can buy it... I'm really curious about his project!!! He also did interviews at the Sting&Edin Paris concert, with some fans happily involved!!!! :D
So my personal advice to fans who will be in Vancouver is: help him, and enter history!!!! :P

I would like to be involved too... but perhaps for him will be hard to fly to Lima - Peru for interview me as the same to me to fly to Vancouver... but I totally dissposal to help him as a view from a far away POLICE fan that feels the same (and more) than the regular pop/rock circuit Police fans... 8) perhaps I will guide him into Lima to search all the great presence THE POLICE lent around my city

By the way, if someone enter a mobil phone into the 27th May Vancouver Concert give me a phonecall to delight me in miles away THE POLICE starts their show the first 30 seconds... Yeah I know is so hard, perhaps is prohibited to be with a mobil phone into the place...but I hope someone give me that wireless gift into the distance... 8)

PS: I will send my mobil phone to someone to help me in that way by my email: josmengaliano@hotmail.com

Gert is a very nice guy !
I met him two times last year: in Paris, and in Lille when Stewart came there to promote "Everyone Stares" DVD.
12 years ago I was a member of his Sting french fan-club, and did a little contribution for the book he wrote: "Sting - enquête de Police" in which my name appears.
I'm quite proud of it !
Thanks Gert for all the things you do for Police fans

Thank you Olivier,

that's a nice picture you got! Where does it come from? I need this kind of stuff for the film (but I also need to know who shoot it).

I also want to thank the fans that have already answered to my interviews request. That will be a pleasure to meet you all in Vancouver. Is there a fan meeting planned somewhere, some time?

Thanks for the help, see you in Canada.
And, of course, many thanx to Giovanni for his warmest support!!

Hi Gert,
A bunch of people are meeting before the Fiction Plane show. I don't think all the details have been worked out. I'll direct you to the post when I locate it.

Hi again Gert !
This picture is a scan of one of the "Sounds" magazines I've got !

Thanks Dietmar for the info, as I asked you a few months ago when was this shot taken. You didn't know well at that time - you told me circa end of 1979, with which I agreed because of Sting's suit (the same he wore in Hammersmith in december 1979 !).
This pic is one of my fav' because of Sting's equipment (2 Taurus, The Minimoog, the SVT classic Ampeg at the back and the famous Ibanez fretless !!!).
