Vey nice! I didn't think Tama made those longer, low pitched octobans anymore? I concur Spec A, that's why I play Zildjian cymbals too!
:D :D :D

Cool! Is it the photo or do those drums look deeper than Stew's?

Good gawd dayam...Starclassics in bubinga...<collapses> and geeb the lil cymbal is spensive surely, but the larger ones seem pretty on par with comparable lines of Zildjians...a sweet ride runs 250 (Zildjian A Custom series) and the A Custom Crash 18 is 220ish (my dream Zild setup would be the Sweet ride and hats, with A custom crashes...I tell my hubby he's lucky I am not into jewelry, diamonds, or anything designer...but this is the weakness right here...ok that and Police concerts, which I would never imagined seeing!)...

Plus those prices for the Paistes are not really super great...I've seen those Signature Full crashes for a bit over 200ish and 250ish respectively for the 16 and 18, if I'm not on memory-crack...But cymbals are all about the sound you like, anyhows :)

I go pretend cymbal shopping like almost every day <grin> and pretend it will remain until like at least the winter holidays/2008 after all these shows! My latest way to self-torture is to watch 602s auctions on ebay and see how much they go for <giggle>...

Thanks for the pic Skip...I love seeing the big guy's setups! PS do you love your new Stewart snare, or what? :)

I'm so glad you asked GinaSuperCat...
Love is an understatement! It's everything I've been looking for in a snare. It's AWESOME- I'm so happy you guys gave me that push needed to buy it. :D

The kit is nice...and obviously a great idea....they could easily have got the blue sparkle and a police head made though.

Doesnt stewart use the starclassic maple tho?

I am sure tama still make the low pitch octobans.

I think we should have an offical and far too detailed update on what stewart will be using on this tour.......and it just occured to me i wonder if he will have all his footswitch controlled delays going on again...that would be so great.

oh yes....a detailed equipment update please.....surely a police tour is a big enough event........remember we are the hardcore copeland fans and need more info than we get on the tama and paiste sites.....we need details.

I was thinking about putting a new replica kit together with a view to maybe selling it ....but i thought the market for a detailed replica kit would be somewhat limited (and i have no space for yet another big drum kit)

blessed be the copeland drum nerds

HH

(official detailed equipment update please....drums cymbals...electronics...percussion the lot!!)
