Andy says Buenos Aires... but I want to be in the Fan Club venue of Vancouver... you know only for fans...and I considered myself as a dying hard fan of THE POLICE

F.C. venue in Vancouver is my dream and pass in front of my face... and I only need that miserable plastic card to be there... If I could climb the peak o f that everest mountain to see them next all things to happen will being a piece of cake...

The tickets offered to fan club members for this show were simple outstanding. tons of seats in all the front rows. I am in row 11. At $50 canadian, it is the deal of the decade!

Yeah, for about $54.00 US total w/all TM fees I ended up this morning w/FLOOR 5th row. I'm not complaining. I guess it's just that now I have to figure out how to get to Vancouver... probably round trip from L.A. to Seattle or Bellingham, WA, then rent a car and drive up to Vancouver. Oh, and I just lost my job a few weeks ago, so if I'm going to make it up there, it'll really have to be seriously on the cheap. Let's see.

Ticketbastard! I got sect 117 on the side!
I tried the floor once and got row 34. I should have kept trying
One of you nice folks will switch with us....right????
We're bigger Stew/Police fans!!!!
Let's take a little quiz:
What's his middle name?
How many and what color are the stripes on his tube socks in the pic with the infamous green shorts and the Greasy Tony tee?
How many consecutive games did Cal Ripken play?
What brand of duct tape did he used to use on his hands?
Is he a brief or a boxer guy?
What color are David Bowie's eyes?
When did I see them in Largo, MD?
Come on! I dare you.

If I win, I get your tix. If you win you get the satisfaction of knowing you know too fucking much for your own good !

That's my concert buddy right there. ^

Laz, I really hope you manage to work things out. Good luck!

Everyone else, if you happen to find yourself with an extra ticket to the FC show (and will be in Vancouver already with the whole Will Call situation), please drop a line to me or to Samburu there. Cuz it seems that the ticket gods were against us this time 'round.

I'm going to try my luck with the FC sale tomorrow. But since Samburu was kind enough to offer to take me to the FC show, I'm hoping (if possible) I can return the favor by at least scoring her a better seat.

(Full disclosure: SS is a card-carrying member of TPT. I will not yet be til later tonight. Which explains why I don't know if there are actually membership cards.)

Thanks, Copelanders.

(Gio, I'm going to X-post this to the other thread just to cover bases if you don't mind. Please forgive the repeat.)
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Hey all, just had a thought that I wanted to pass along for those who are considering renting a car to drive the rest of the way...car rental agencies are becoming more strict about where you take the vehicles and so you will want to make sure that crossing the border is a-ok in the rental beforehand...used to be that they couldn't really tell where you actually went (just miles) but I have read about the introductory use of gps systems to determine where the car has been and people being charged ridiculous fees for contract violation (if the contract specifies you can't take it out of the state or country)...I don't really know how widespread (or experimental) this is, it may not really be a key concern but I only mention this in case it is helpful! Hubby is investigating the bus/train options from Seattle to Vancouver versus airfare directly to Vancouver currently...

See you all there and best wishes ! <3

This sounds awesome, but I just can't get there. How about a gig on the East Coast? As long as it is drivable, I'd go.

I hope you can get there Dietmar.
