Stewart's Oeuvre

Postby jedsoon on 21 Mar 2007 01:56

I dropped him a line today about the Rhythmatist live set. We'll see what develops!

I know of no archive or any other official source for the music that has appeared in the vault. Which is a damn shame, since i no longer myself have access to that incredible first set of tunes. It was all over the map, including Dead Like Me stuff, pieces from Orchestralli and Taranta (finally acquired those), and several one-offs and rarities that are unlikely to ever see the light of day. Georgygirl's favorite "Louis" was available there as well.

If any enterprising soul possibly streamed and archived the material from that first page, i would sure like to add those songs to my collection!

Hey can I join the Stew luv in? I was going to say some smart ass thing like, "I thought only girls had ouevres." But my ears perked up upon the mention of the Rhythmatist. I can NOT imagine what that must have been like live. I've been groovin' to that since, well, he released it. Hence the moniker 8) I never knew he ever performed it live.

Chris, Would it be terribly rude if I asked to get in on the copy of the live performance? I'd do the postage and disk and everything, too.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!

I would very, very gladly hook up anyone at all with a live Rhythmatist set, but i have only heard tell of one individual in possession of it. I emailed him tonight as a matter of fact. It's currently my holy grail. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Ha! You ouef. (I had a feeling we'd catch your attention somehow. )

When the time comes, I can also figure out how to post them on a file-sharing site somewhere if people like. With Stewart's permission, of course.

If the full selection of Klark Kent stuff was available on iTunes, I would have DL'd it already, gladly putting a few bucks in Stewart's pocket. Unfortunately, it isn't.

Yeah, I'd love to see the Kent stuff up on iTunes. But I also hate to bug SC about it considering how much he has on his plate right now.

Perhaps he wouldn't mind a gentle reminder? . . .
