Last Night's Nightmare!

Last Night's Nightmare!

Postby jennym on 10 Apr 2007 14:47

Okay, I literally had to wake myself up while having this one because it was so traumatic. I dreamed that I was up in Dallas getting ready for the show (the odd thing is that I'm not going to the Dallas show, I'm actually going to the Vegas and Tampa shows) and was putting everything in my purse when I realized that I did not have my hard tickets. AHHHHHH!! My tickets were back in Austin in my safe box. I was frantically calling my boyfriend to go to my house and get the tickets and drive the three hours up to Dallas and give me the tickets. The concert was starting in two hours. The next thing was that I was standing in a massive line waiting to go through this multiple check system to get your band so you could get into the show and these guys wanted to sell me an extra ticket for over $200 but I did not have the money on me... this is where I woke myself up!
Before I left the house today for work I put up a big sign on my front door "TAKE POLICE TICKETS".
This is the only bad, but enormous, thing about getting the hard tickets over the electronic.

Hah, there's a thread on TPT about relating your Police dreams <grin>

A side note for those who went with paper tickets: make sure to keep them out of the sun and heat...especially this summer...my friend Tom and I got tickets to ehh I don't exactly remember Anderson/Bruford/Wakeman/Howe? show, I think, about 20 years ago and he left the tickets in the glove compartment...well the tickets turned completely black (printed with thermal ink...kinda like fax paper)...so guard your tickets carefully <grin>

I wasn't going to post this but since you've started the thread... A few weeks ago I had my own Police nightmare.

I was at the first of the Police dates I'm planning to catch this summer and right away things seemed odd. Sting was acting like a stand up comic, trying to interact with the crowd. The music finally started and it was incredibly quiet - Andy and Stewart were playing very softly AND the pa was way down. The crowd started shouting, "We can't hear you!"

Andy and Stewart appeared very dejected. It seemed obvious that Sting wask making them play so softly. The crowd was still shouting, and then a string section joined the band watering the music down even more. The show finished, I was left standing in the audience shouting, "Sting sucks! Sting sucks!" I was so relieved to wake up!

[quote="Mrs. Gradenko"]You should yell that at the concert anyways, just to see how he responds.

I had this really weird dream last week, I probably shouldn't even admit to it... I was able to meet Stewart after the concert, he, me and my bf were hanging out... and Stewart was like... "You wanna...." And I thought, "Why not? I'd never get another shot. Sure." So I was like, yeah. So ahem some time later, he was like... "You know I'm gay right? I ment with him...." And I thought "Fuck! Well ok." So I told my bf, "if you want..." And he ran away screaming "Angelina Jolie!"

Yeah, that is weird. Stew's wife, ex-wife and 30+ kids would be very surprised.

I know that the second part is supposed to be the funny part, but this ^ just made me spit up breakfast. I love it.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

What's with the Angelina Jolie part, I wonder...?

OK, so I dreamed Andy gave me guitar lessons the other night.

Guitar. Not silicon flute or anything. ;)

He just loves her. And ages ago we played that game of famous people you could sleep with if you had the shot. Jolie is his number one.
